We arrived at this hotel around 9:00 PM, tired from our travels. The front desk staff member was rude and unprofessional. He asked me to write down all my credit card details, including the expiry date and three-digit security code, stating that his system was down and he could not process payments electronically.
I explained that I was not comfortable sharing such sensitive information in writing and suggested that he use the credit card details already provided to Expedia or that I could pay in cash the next day. He became visibly upset, tore up the registration papers, and told us there was no room available for us, asking us to leave the premises.
We were shocked by his behavior and had to call the police to report the situation. After explaining everything to the officers, we were forced to book another hotel at the last minute. By then, it was almost 11:30 PM.
