'I was surprised to hear all my family thought it was one our best vacations and were all delighted to hear that I booked it for next year. All were very active throughout the week, and all seemed to enjoy the activities and each other's company. Our only complaint was that the ice maker was not very productive, and the kitchen door was difficult to lock and unlock. I tried to tighten the lock but did not have the proper tools with me. We are already looking forward to our stay at Pop Castle...

'First of all is was a beautiful, well-equipped property. Very clean and airy. Closer to the water than the pictures show, Such lovely views of the river. So, so quiet, just what we like when we are on vacation! My son caught a few crabs and he and hubby steamed them. The owner was very responsive to questions. We just loved how secluded this house was. This house had every amenity one would need. We will definitely book again.'

'So much fun to stay in a 1917 farm house. Unfortunately didn’t appear haunted but we did have a mouse visit last night. We probably should have anticipated that in a farm house & put our snacks away better. Loved the view, the hot tub, firepit, the very comfortable beds, the veranda/sunroom, etc. We would’ve made use of the kayaks had the weekend not been a total rainout. We did make good use of the rain boots for a beautiful walk. Perfect getaway location.'
