'Very clean and comfy. Had everything in that we needed , plenty of kitchen utensils , cups ,plates and glasses. We had a bathroom and separate toilet. We had a great view of the bay . Spoke to Andrew the owner , very nice bloke . If we are going back to the area we would definitely stay here again . '

'I spent one night whilst visiting a friend and the hotel was absolutely ideal. Fantastic location on the beach front. All of the staff were friendly, the room was a decent size and very clean. Bathroom was also a good size with a powerful shower and extremely clean. It's a touch on the old side and is currently being renovated but honestly for the price it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast is genuinely superb as a particular highlight. '

'Het hotel is goed gelegen, met uitzicht op zee. Jammer dat we zo laat boekten dat we in een tweepersoonsbed moesten slapen (dat hebben mijn dochter en ik al zo'n 30 jaar niet meer gedaan#. We hadden trouwens geen last van elkaar. Mijn vele fietstassen werden onder vriendelijk gepraat naar de kamer gebracht. Het ontbijt was het beste van de hele reis #toast, zalm en scrambled eggs). we hebben er genoten.'

'It was located on the main street of Tynemouth. We could see the sea at the end of the road. We were not disturbed by noise. There were lots of well rated cafes and restaurants. The owner was very friendly, available and helpful without at any point being intrusive. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and to provide what we needed. 'For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away.'
