'Staying at Crow How was so peaceful and beautiful. The view from our window was idyllic, the property incredibly lovely and the hosts as kind and helpful as one would wish '

'A wonderful pet friendly hotel in the heart of Grasmere. It was decorated beautifully, and the room we had was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of cooked options and a buffet style breakfast too (not to mention the dog got a sausage every morning!). Our only feedback would be that our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, though it was only three nights. It would’ve been good to have the mugs and water jug refreshed, however I’m sure if we’d asked this would’ve...

'We loved staying at the Elder Grove! Lovely room with a comfortable bed. On the main street, but outside noise never bothered us. The location makes it very walkable around Ambleside. Nice extra touches in the room like cookies and cocoa. The 'Herdy' mugs made me smile and the toilet paper has the ouline of little dogs imprinted on it. Breakfast had a nice selection of cold items, including homemade granola which was excellent. Made to order hot items. Andrea was very warm and welcoming.'

'We loved our stay at Crow Park. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We were there while a Rick Steves tour was on, and the staff went extra to assure we were welcomed and well looked after too. They were super accommodating about answering our questions, and friendly - clearly seem to enjoy learning about us as guests. The hotel was full, yet we were well cared for. It was an easy walk too to get from the bus to the hotel, and then into town. '

'Lorna was so incredibly accommodating and kind. She also made one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had and even went out of her way to get additional vegan snacks and treats when we mentioned it in the optional booking information (when she contacted me within about 15 minutes of booking). The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. Very close to town, either by the road or scenic railway path.'
