'This was a great find. The room was small but clean - it looked new. There was a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and TV area on the floor that was spotless. I never saw anyone in there. The block was quiet and secure but close to everything. It was a little pricey but I chose the Galway racing festival to stay without realising so the entire city was booked out - it would be worth checking the dates if you want to avoid crowds!! 'The suite was nice - having a separate bedroom from the rest of the place. However, we got there at 5pm and the room was still not ready, when they said it would be available at 3pm. That meant that the cleaning was rushed - and it showed (there were hairs in the shower, for example). Otherwise, the space was great and the coffee tasty!'

'I would have given 5 stars, however with no hot water on the first night and third night I was less than impressed. The receptionist AnnLynn was very helpful and managed to give me a card for a room a couple of blocks away, not perfect but at least I was able to shower after a hot day sightseeing. All staff very helpful. Wonderful grounds and plenty of very pleasant walks.'

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
