'We had gone out, came back around 9pm and the main gate was locked. There was no security person manning the gate. Security guard came after 15 min or so and did not have the key to the padlock. We kept on calling the cell number provided by the hotel and there was no answer. Almost an hour later, they had to break the padlock. Manager on duty not answering calls and nowhere to be found as well. '

'Honestly, the his place is so dirty, it’s unbelievable. The furniture is substandard and the TV doesn’t have basic channels like CNN. '

'The property is in a beautiful location with access to a beautiful beach. Gardens/pathways are well maintained.
The spa is excellent.
Small problem areas are - teapot in room still full of old tea/rust colored water in the kettle/wooden strip above the lounge curtain fell off/dinner was mediocre (risotto was terrible - stodgy lump)/back of house area behind our villa had garbage lying around.
Devil is in the details.
