'The bar was friendly and comfortable and the food was great. I would have rated my stay excellent however on my third night the heat wasn’t working in my room. After changing my room TWICE the staff finally found a room with heat! In one of the rooms the thermostat read “82” degrees at which time the hostess tried convincing me to stay in by saying “she likes it that warm”…. Totally ridiculous thing to say to a paying guest!'

'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '
