Thanks for the honest review Brad! Yes, it is true that we should of put on the Air sooner, our mistake. It was an unusual day of 105 degree heat index, no excuse on our part. There are two overhead ceiling fans that helps, and, we did put in a 14,000 BTU Air Conditioner based on your recommendation. It is true, we are a vintage type experience, not found anywhere in the Lake Geneva anymore. You do get a Cabin Experience in a wooded area with picnic tables, firepits, and grills close to the Lake. We did talk to the cleaning crew about leaving a wash cloth behind, and that was addressed. Happy you enjoyed the free Beach passes and grilling out on the prpoerty during your stay! Jim

Sorry for your experience Oliver. I appreciate the great host comment. We are vey accessible and friendly. I spoke to you several times during your stay and there was no mention of any issues. I would of taken care of any of those concerns immediately. We contract with a very good and professional cleaning service. When I showed them this review they were very apologetic, and took the appropriate steps on their end. This was a very rare occurrence, especially when you read all the other reviews. We are considered a Premier Host with an accumulative 4.7 Stars on our reviews. Jim

We use the Market Place tool to make sure that we are competitively priced. Additionally, It is challenging for us when guests arrive with more people than they listed, or is allowed on our listing. Thanks Julia for your Review! We have quite a few guests stay with us that participate in Triathlons, 5K, and other races around the lake. So we know how important it is to have a good night’s sleep. You mentioned that you placed 2nd, hope to see you next year on your quest to 1st place! Happy you enjoyed the outside deck; it is a lovely place to have a meal. The smoke detectors are required to be placed in certain areas, and we doubled checked the oven. We do provide the kitchen basics in the Cabin, and we have additional amenities upon request.

Thank you for choosing us Richard, and we do appreciate and listen to your feedback! It was nice to see your children and dogs enjoying our spacious grounds! They were skate boarding, running around chasing fireflies, cooking on the grills, sitting by the fire pit at night and swimming at the beach! And, we are on grounds every day, so we can be receptive to your needs. We apologize if we missed you one of those days, but we do have fans, extra dishes and pot holders all available upon request. We do have several outdoor chairs with arm rests available for the fire pit area. We will put some closer to the fire pit, so they can’t be missed. We do replace utensils and bedding regularly to ensure cleanliness. We appreciate the fact that you emailed and spoke to us several times prior to your arrival, asking us questions about the pictures, and sending us a list of items that we had ready for you upon arrival. We understand you were disappointed, but unfortunately we could not honor your request to park your Camper on the property, due to size and local ordinances. Though we do not automatically include beach towels and chairs, we do have some available upon request. We do provide free passes and parking to get on the beach. A couple of the windows have a tricky child safety mechanism that only allows them to open partially, so those will be replaced. On one of those days, you told us that our place was much better for your family than the last one you stayed at, so we hope to see you back soon!
