Great Location and Plenty of Space
We had a group of 9 of us stay in mid-April and we loved the size of the place and the outdoor patio. The location was great as well as we were quite close to Williams without hearing any of the noise in town.

Pictures on Site are kind of misled, so was the location. The house is very nice on the outside, but it's located right by houses and Trailors. There really was no scenery. The only thing really nice on the inside was the Great room downstairs. Linens were kinda old and stained. Showers are definitely for people 4ft tall, and the faucet was broke in one of the bedrooms. Dryer door is broken off also. We tried playing some of the games, but pieces were missing, and the TVs reception was on and off. Was very hot upstairs. It wasn't a bad stay, just not what we all expected. There were 4 couples, and one couple had to struggle with showering because there is no shared bathrooms upstairs.

Express gathering
This Lodge had plenty of room for the whole family, adults,teenagers and the little ones. The open floorplan in the gathering area allowed for the whole family to enjoy and large bedrooms were great for all our sleeping arrangements The only complaint was hot water was lacking for showering and sinks with warm temperatures at best.

Perfect family experience!
We were here with our four kids, celebrating our oldest’s 8th birthday. Williams is beautiful and this lodge was exquisite! It was everything that our family needed. My husband and I slept in the master bedroom, with our one year old in the adjoining nursery that was equipped with changing table and crib. Grandma (my MIL) had her own room with en suite bathroom, and the two older boys had the room with the bunkbeds, which they adored! My almost 3 year year-old daughter, had a queen bed all to herself, and everyone had enough room for bathrooms. The kitchen and living area downstairs was perfect for our family, and there were snacks available to us the moment we stepped in. I cannot say enough about the backyard, which was so fun for the kids to run around and play in. Within an hour of Arriving, a train went by and we could see the train crossings. My kids were thrilled as we had come to Williams to see the trains among other things. This home was so intentional for families with little kids! There were two high chairs/booster seats in the laundry room that we used for my one-year-old and two-year-old. The list goes on. This is the place to stay for a family!

Advertisement on the original VRB post had nothing about no air conditioning. that came after contract signed and checkin process portion. I feel that a property should have that at the top of the ad. Home was enjoyable and greatful that we were not there with it being any warmer.

Hi Amber, thank you for your feedback. Air conditioning is not listed as an amenity at this rental. We are sorry if you thought that it would have it. Most homes in Northern Arizona do not have A/C.

Annual Family Vacation
The property was large enough for our family of 8 (5 adults and 3 children), so we weren't tripping over each other. At first we had a problem finding the front door, since there are so many doors at this property (front door is to the left of the garage). A couple of things I'd like to point out. My son didn't realize there was a second step down into the garage and fell, injuring both knees and spraining his ankle. We couldn't find a first aid kit, so we called management. The person who answered the phone wasn't able to help. Second, we spotted a mouse in the downstairs half bath and was able to get it out of the house. The next day we spotted the mouse running into the laundry room (which is between the half bath and kitchen). We weren't able to find it to get it out of the house. Management needs to address the mouse issue, since it's a health issue, especially when there are small children staying there. Despite the issues, we still had a fun vacation.

Amazing Stay During Our Grand Canyon Vacation
Property was fantastic and just the right size to accommodate our large group. Ample space, the perfect mountain cabin. Especially enjoyed the close proximity to historic downtown Williams. Where able to enjoy its restaurants and shopping! Would highly recommend to anyone who is planning a trip to the Williams or the Grand Canyon!

Wonderful Experience - Just a few minor issues
We had the most amazing time! There happened to be a small fair right across the field over the weekend and on Sunday night they put on one of the most amazing firework shows we had ever seen and it was in the back yard! We were making smores, enjoying the beautiful weather, the train came up right as they started and it almost seemed like a scene out of a movie it was so perfect. The reason for the 4 stars was because when we pulled up there were people staining/painting the exterior of the house. I understand that it's got to be done, the house looked great so obviously that requires upkeep. However, it could have maybe been scheduled during the week or another weekend when there weren't guests in the house. We had to make sure all our blinds were closed because they said they were going to come the next morning and we were just picturing waking up to someone outside our windows lol plus trying to make sure little ones don't touch the drying house is quite difficult. A couple other things I wanted to mention, don't put any food in the cabinet that is in the dining area. The train is really close which is awesome during the day for kids to watch but quite loud at night. All of that aside, we had plenty of space for our large family. Room to go outside or upstairs to get away from the noise, have the kids run around without bothering anyone, etc. The house itself had everything we needed for cooking large dinners, playing board games, sleeping, getting ready, etc. We are planning this as a bi-annual trip and we just hope we can book this cabin every time!

The property was average. We were not given distinctive directions on where we should enter the property. We were also not made aware the property would be shared - we were under the impression it was a single, stand-alone property - not an inn connected. A couple from the inn entered our part of the property which was very unnerving! A call to the office did handle that problem, which we were very thankful. We also had issues with adequate hot water for showers. It was clean and accommodated our group well.

This cabin was a perfect stop for our group trip from San Diego to the Grand Canyon! The owners are communicative and thoughtful, and the house is both spacious and cozy all at once. Online descriptions and pictures are accurate representations of the house in person (which is always a relief when renting sight-unseen). We will definitely return!

Too hot for no AC and the property was not ready on time.
There is no AC in this lodge which came as a surprise to our group, considering the very warm temperatures during the summer. Our bedroom upstairs was 88 through the night-too hot to sleep comfortably. When I spoke to the property manager I was told rather rudely that 90% of homes in northern Arizona have no AC and they did not say in the description that there was AC. Not a single local person that we spoke with has no AC in their home. We were unable to check in until an hour late as the group before us left late and the cleaners were still on the property. I called and spoke with the property manager when we arrived and it took 30 mins to get a call back. We did end up getting a very small refund for the inconvenience. A phone call in advance to inform us of the delay would have been appreciated so that we could have planned accordingly. The location was perfect and the outdoor space was lovely. This would be a more suitable property for the cooler months.

Loved riding train to Grand Canyon, the children loved Bearizona and all the cowboys. We enjoyed Williams and the route 66 information and museums, towns folk very welcoming. Only draw back was no air conditioning in the lodge. We were very uncomfortable at times.

Things you need to know
Overall the property is very good, clean, spacious and very well taking care of. However, you need to know that when you rent this property, there are room under the half of the property. This means that at 10pm (especially if you have kids) you will get a noise complains. This was incredibly frustrating. We rented this home to get away from the city and spend times with my kids, friends and family for Halloween. And 6hrs after checking in, we received a text and a call from someone with the property management to notify us we were being too "Loud". Just ridiculous. 2nd, the water pressure is completely inadequate, I will assume is because there is only one water supply for everyone including the other 2/3 rooms below you. So you will have good water pressure until someone flush the toilet or open any faucet. 3rd. Internet service is very slow. I will not recommend this property for families get away or hangouts.

Perfect Getaway
We found this property on VRBO and were so excited, it was so beautiful and the price was right. We were worried it was to good to be true, when we arrived it was exactly like the pictures. This house is perfect for multiple families more the enough space to accommodate lots of people. The property had everything we needed, down to every detail. The outside is beautiful, and scenic and lots of room to run around and have fun with our son and family. The town of Williams is so cute and lots to do, this is definitely a hidden jem, and we are so glad we found it!

Perfect Base Camp for Exploring Amazing Arizona !
The lodge was very lovely and we were able to accommodate our family of 12 adults and one infant. I don't mean to be picky, but there were a few glitches. The encounter by phone with property manager was somewhat awkward at first. When we called to inquire how to raise the room temperatures from 57 degrees with a temperature of 30 degrees outside and snowing, the property manager tried to tell me that "instructions to the individual fireplaces were sent by email." No, they were not. In reading the last email sent, it clearly states that a manual is provided on site. I related that to the property manager who said, "well, the manual may have been tossed out or lost." Well, I insisted that he send someone immediately to the property to help us with the situation because I would not attempt to use any equipment that I didn't have a clear understanding about. Fortunately, the owners have a wonderful caretaker and if it wasn't for him, we would have shivered for the entire stay. He even gave us the use of his own personal heaters because two of the heaters did not work. God Bless You, Gary! Additionally, we had to purchase our own toilet paper - not stocked at all. The owner's toiletries shampoos etc... were left in the shower- not pleasant. The owners have a very lovely, family friendly home and I hate to say anything to detract from that fact, however, so should their cleaning staff. I have often encountered some inconsistencies with VRBO properties as to how they are appointed with the basics: towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc.. I was prepared to bring our own toiletries and purchase whatever we needed, but I do think that dispensing at least a "full roll" of toilet paper in every bathroom should occur with the amount of money we paid. There was some incomplete cleaning done in the kitchen. We did everything in our power to comply with all of the rules of the house and respect the property as if it were ours. Housekeeping should prepare the kitchen and bathrooms a little better for the new guests coming in, is all I have to say in the negative. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had an enjoyable time and it was a lovely and warm (both temperature wise and aesthetically) setting for our family to be together and explore the amazing sites of the Grand Canyon, Williams Rodeo, Flagstaff, Sedona and Winslow.

Lovely lodge
The Quarter Horse Lodge is a really lovely and large "lodge" which worked well for our short two-night stay in Williams with our extended family of 11 adults/children. There was plenty of room for us, and I can see how it would comfortably fit up to 17 people. Everything was clean in the lodge and it was very nice to have two washers and dryers available to us. The location is also very convenient to Williams and the Grand Canyon railway (it's just outside of the main "town" so it's not noisy - and you can see the train go right by as it's near the railroad tracks). Each bedroom had it's own bathroom as well - which was something we were looking for in where we stay because with a few separate family groups, it's nice to have that privacy and convenience of having your own bathroom space. I will mention though that while each room had it's own bathroom, we were only ever able to use one at a time for showering/washing as there was an issue with the water pressure (literally, there was zero pressure if more than one shower / appliance was being used). Given that our stay was so short, we didn't say anything to management while we were there - so in fairness they didn't have a chance to "correct" the issue for us. Hopefully it was a one time issue - and we did let the management know about this after our stay. Also to note, when we did bring up to management a question we had about how to control the climate, we spoke with Matthew who was kind and helpful in helping us resolve the issue. Overall - the QHL was a good choice for our vacation. One other thing to note: the LODGE is actually connected to the INN - as in it is in the same building - not just "adjacent to" it. This was a little bit of a surprise to us as when we read "adjacent to" in the description we figured the Inn was a separate building that was "adjacent to" or "next to" the lodge, rather than the same building. Not a big deal, but figured it was worth mentioning...

Amazing comfort
We had such a fabulous time with extended family- beautiful lodge with so many nice touches. Kitchen supplies were awesome, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges so great for large group. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and the nursery was sooo wonderful for 12 mo old baby. Management was immediately responsive to a minor issue. I highly recommend!

We Loved This House!
This is a great jumping off point for the Grand Canyon. The house is HUGE and really welcoming for a large group. We had three couples and we were all very comfortable. The kitchen/dining room/living room is one large space which is perfect for enjoying time with your group. Plus, the town of Williams is cool -- small town very retro vibe. The route 66 restaurants/bars and shops are really fun. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend staying in the lodge for a family gathering. Beautiful, clean and spacious!
The property manager Matthew has been so accommodating and kind with any question I had. We shared the home with three families and never felt on top of each other. Each room was very clean and comfortable. I’m already planning another trip back!

Beautiful cabin with so much space!
Absolutely beautifully cabin! We had a family of 7 that stayed for 2 days. We felt right at home.The fireplaces kept us warm and cozy. It was so close to downtown Williams. There was so much to do with all the Route 66 restaurants and shops. Plus we could see the Grand Canyon Railway train right from our cabin. Which we rode the next day to the Grand Canyon. There was plenty of space for our whole family to spread out and just enjoy our stay. Just like at home we cooked our meals and was very surprised that there was everything we needed. Plus there was snacks available for us to enjoy. My family would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone. October 2018 Johnson family Prairie Creek, IN

A Beautiful Mansion by route 66 Williams AZ
What an amazing home right by route 66, Grand Canyon Railway, and Bearizona, This home is beautiful and fully furnished just bring your clothes and personal items everything else was there, So serene and tranquil that we didn't want to leave, We will definitely be back and its priced right. So do not hesitate book right away you wont be disappointed !!!
