Communicatie met de eigenaan verliep super vlot, het huis is exact zoals beschreven en op de foto's te zien. We kregen op voorhand véél informatie van de eigenaar (gedetailleerde wegbeschrijving en chech-in instructies, waar zijn de winkels, waar kan je best nog tanken, welke restaurants en activiteiten in de buurt, ...). Wij verbleven er in juli 2026 tijdens een zeer droge periode waardoor we de vuurkorf niet konden gebruiken (fire ban in de regio), maar dat werd ruimschoots goed gemaakt door de prachtige sterrenhemel (ja, de melkweg is op een heldere avond duidelijk met het blote oog zichtbaar hier!). In de keuken zijn thee en koffie, maar ook kruiden, olie, ... voorzien, wat super-handig is als je zelf wil koken. Ook de BBQ (zeer proper!) hebben we gebruikt. Toen we toe kwamen stonden er al flesjes water voor ons klaar in de ijskast en op de keukentafel een mandje met trail-mix (kleine zakjes noten/rozijenen) en energy bars. De rust, het uitzicht en het gigantische terras is wat ons bijgebleven is. Iets wat gasten uit Europa ook zullen appreciëren: er zijn verschillende stopcontacten met USB-aansluiting (om smartphone, tablet, ... te laden).

Very equipped house, everything was there to make it a pleasant stay. Really nice view from the porch. Relaxing environment. The hosts answered right away and were really kind!We would definitely recommend!

Peaceful location just outside Grand Canyon NP

Comfortable and clean house located a short drive from Grand Canyon NP. The location is somewhat isolated, which made it very quiet and perfect for our family.

The views and the solitude are what The Haven is all about. In three days here I heard one other car that wasn’t my own. The location is great for visiting Grand Canyon and it is a very quiet. The house is clean and well equipped with extra touches. The house is a little noisy so early sleepers may have a hard time if others are still walking around. Would gladly stay here again if we are in the area. I could sit on the front porch and take in the mountain views for ages.

Unbelievable setting

This house is probably the most peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Between the setting and the finishing touches from the owners, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We landed on the property based on its location to the Grand Canyon, and it was perfect for multiple day trips.

Peaceful stay near Grand Canyon

Great location near Grand Canyon National Park. Short drive to the park entrance. Communication with Pat was great. We loved sitting on the porch in the shade and quiet with great views. Would stay again.

The only problem I had was having to leave! We stayed at some amazing places during our two week Western Parks tour but The Haven was our favorite! It was very clean, Host had excellent communication with us and the surroundings were incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The drive to the Grand Canyon was about a 30 minute easy drive. We would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Getaway

The perfect getaway if you’re going to the Grand Canyon! Absolutely loved the oversized porch and vistas. Fully stocked with all the utensils and tools you need! We can’t wait to visit again!

Our family of 5 (three adult children) had an amazing stay at The Haven. Very quiet and peaceful. Close enough to Grand Canyon, Williams and Sedona but far enough away for privacy. The home was clean, and well appointed. Would highly recommend!

Serene home near Grand Canyon

Wonderful place for our adult family group of five to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon. Peaceful and nicely equipped for our meal prep. Host was very responsive to our questions/requests. We would definitely book here again if we return to the area.

Perfect stay!

Absolutely loved our stay! The Haven had everything we could have asked for - so many thoughtful touches. The house is clean, uncluttered, and the enormous back porch perfect for stargazing and drinking tea/coffee. The views were so beautiful and calming. The location perfect for a grand canyon visit. Highly recommend!

Convenient to the Canyon

Close enough to the Canyon (@35mins) but far enough to be quiet and away from the chaos. Scenery was amazing and the house didn't disappoint. Everything needed to rest and relax after a good day of hiking and exploring.
