'The place was really nice, clean and pretty! The location is a self check in but it’s overall easy to check in. If I had any trouble it was easy to communicate with the owner. There is a shopping center, convenient store and plenty of restaurants nearby the hotel. The only down side there is no elevators because it is a historic building and there is no air conditioning. Overall I enjoyed my stay!! '

'Very close to the centre, with restaurants and cafés. The self catering in the house was great too. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a great living area downstairs too! The host, was very good. He organised an earlier time for us to get into the house and his directions were brilliant. We would definitely stay here again!'

'It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. '

'After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. 'This hotel was fantastic and exceeded expectations , wish we could have stayed longer !! Staff was friendly and helpful , breakfast was delicious and rooms were clean and spacious. Shower and bathroom also excellent and roomy'

'Our room (number 4) was bright and airy, dual aspect and extremely spacious. Beautifully decorated with quality art deco style accessories. A huge comfortable bed and immaculate shower room en-suite. An unexpected surprise was a small fridge containing bottled water, juice, porridge pots and cereal bars - all of which were replaced each day.Our only disappointment was that the Bath Tap and Chowder Co. was closed for the duration of our stay.'
