The hosts were extremely friendly with excellent communication. The cottage was clean and our stay was very pleasant and quiet. The cottage was equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay away from the daily chaos. The fresh eggs, coffee and bread were an added bonus. The fire pit with plenty of wood supplied was perfect for relaxing evenings outside with a glass of wine. We will definitely consider staying there in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage was incredibly cute, clean, and cozy; exactly what we were hoping for. It’s tucked away in a very secluded spot, which made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet. Everything we needed was provided, and the little touches made it feel so welcoming. Pictures accurately display the beauty of this quant cottage. Hosts Judith and Lindsay were excellent and quick responding to questions. We came into town for the bourbon festival so we didn’t have much time on property. But this cottage was between Bardstown and Frankfort where we spent most of our time. It is a bit off the beaten path which was a nice get away from the tourist areas for the distilleries. We loved this place and would stay here again. 10/10.

Beautiful and relaxing!

We loved our stay! Very clean cottage, beautifully decorated. Very peaceful with only the sounds of the birds and nature. Nothing was left out for an enjoyable visit. Wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again. The Host was wonderful and very responsive.

Fantastic place to stay!!

This beautiful home is the perfect place to stay for a weekend away and visiting a little of the bourbon trail! The property itself is so beautiful and the house is just the cherry on top! If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is it! I could not recommend this enough! We will definitely be back! Judith is also a fantastic host, she had the home stocked with all the necessities including farm fresh eggs! Thanks again Judith and we can’t wait to cone back!

Relaxing is understated. Clean, comfortable, centrally located to distilleries, and other adventures. Property description is accurate. Step outside to see every layer of the star lit night sky. Amenities exceeded all or any expectations. The only negative I can report is that we had to leave too soon. Rebooking soon.

We wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful, extremely private trip. Host went above and beyond with little things left for us to enjoy. A loaf of bread, apples, etc. We will definitely be back sometime when it is much warmer with no snow so we can enjoy the property!

Place is beautiful and very clean. Only issue was the road leading back to the property. It's a rough one lane gravel road. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend, just be aware that it's a pretty rough road getting to the property.

Beautiful and quiet spot convenient to the bourbon trail

The owners could not have been nicer and more communicative. Made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to see if there were things we needed along the way. The property is one big room with a big bed, eating area, family room and spacious kitchen. There are two bathrooms and a wonderful front patio. We especially loved that it was pet friendly!

Wonderful Quiet Getaway

The hosts Judith and Lindsey were great! If was nice to find the kitchen stocked with coffee, fruit, snacks, eggs and bread. This was really thoughtful and the first time we have ever experienced such gracious hosts. The place was great, immaculate, exactly as described. We would breakfast on the porch and would be regularly visited by a few of her hens. Located in the heart of bourbon country with easy access to Bardstown, Lawrenceburg, Frankfort and Lexington. We would definitely stay here again the next time we do the Bourbon Trail.
