With 2,000 square feet of living space, Sylvan Meadow provides ample room for your family to relax and recharge. The open kitchen seamlessly flows into the main living room and dining room, which are warmed by a brick gas fireplace as well as dappled sunshine, during the day, that falls generously from our skylight. A large and private patio deck awaits you off of the dining room that overlooks our expansive backyard and woodline forest.
🛌 The primary bedroom is spacious with a king-size bed and a skylight that shows off the starry sky at night. It is large enough to include a reading nook or workspace and enjoys a beautiful private custom en suite bathroom with a rain-room shower that is large enough for two, as well as a vanity with a large mirror and fantastic light. Two of our secondary bedrooms are located on the upstairs floor and are also quite spacious; they both include queen beds, one has 2 windows for a great seasonal cross-breeze, the other is a cozy space with lots of morning sunlight, sharing a full bathroom along the hallway.
Downstairs is a spacious queen bedroom that includes a dedicated workspace, a large reclining sofa in front of a big-screen TV! You’ll have easy access to a grand private patio and the backyard right from this room (note: the downstairs gas fireplace is not currently functional). We provide a pack-n-play, that serves families with young children or pets who may enjoy the quiet and additional privacy it offers.
Windows are everywhere and in every room at Sylvan Meadow with natural and completely private views of the forest and our grounds, all around.
🍽 The kitchen is a chef`s delight and offers an incredible amount of granite counter space with a wrap-around `L` configuration that includes a built-in four-top electric range and stove facing into the great room. A deep stainless sink looks out into the forest through a large window. The large granite island comfortably seats 5 and nestles well into the kitchen providing excellent counterspace for more than one person to cook together. The kitchen is loaded with wonderful white pantries and is appointed with a beautiful white marble backsplash. The fridge is oversized and will be empty for you fill as you like and includes a bottom drawer freezer. Additional appliances include a dishwasher, large microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker that can be used with k-cups or to make a full pot when you need a little extra.
🌄 Tranquil Setting: Wake up to peaceful birdsong every morning and enjoy the serenity of Vermont, in any season. The large elevated deck is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a family BBQ, all while watching the wildlife in your own backyard. At night you may enjoy our wood-burning firepit down below, we keep wood for you to use all year round and to toast marshmallows or just enjoy the wide open starry sky. With proximity to the BTV Airport, you may even enjoy watching an occasional airshow. The VT Air National Guard flies F-35 fighters which are often viewable, usually between 9am and 2pm.
🐶 Pet friendly: Sylvan Meadow is a pet friendly home, however, please no more than 2 good* dogs and no llamas or hippos. * Not allowed on the furniture
🚗 Convenient Location: We are just a stone`s throw from some of the best shopping you`ll find in Vermont. Amazing restaurants as well of every type of cuisine are located right around the corner! Taft Corners, in particular is right next door and, of course, we`re only 5 miles from the famous Church Street Promenade, a 3-block long open-air pedestrian mall that was named the `Best Public Square in America` by USA Today in 2022! And, of course, Just down the road from there is the Burlington waterfront located on Lake Champlain where you can take a lakefront bike ride along the shore to the Island Line Trail where it crosses a 3 mile private bike causeway to South Hero Island or enjoy the skate park or a sailboat sunset cruise! There is a ton of fun to be had and you`ll be right in the middle of it all at Sylvan Meadow!
