Deze "Heaven on Earth" op Chimney Hill Resort is strategisch gelegen in de nabijheid van Albany NY, Monadnock Mountain NH (de meest / tweede meest beklommen berg ter wereld), Berkshire Mountain en nog veel meer locaties.

"Heaven on Earth" in Chimney Hill Resort ligt in het hart van de Green Mountain-regio. Het is ook 1 uur. 20 min. uit Albany NY, 1 uur. 20 min. van Monadnock Mountain (de meest / tweede meest beklimmende berg in de wereld), 20 min van het dichtstbijzijnde punt in New Hampshire, en het dichtstbijzijnde punt in Canada is ongeveer 3. 5-4 uur. Het is een populaire bestemming voor toeristen uit New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island en Massachusetts. Het stelt u in staat om snel in NH te stappen en 'belastingvrij' te winkelen. Het is een zeer makkelijke, geen verkeersrit vanaf elk punt in Massachusetts (we wonen daar). Hiermee kunt u dagtochten maken naar Albany NY, Springfield en Pittsfield MA gebied (Berkshire Mountain), Keene NH, Monadnock Mountain in Jaffrey NH, en nog veel meer. Er zijn wandelpaden met startpunten bij Chimney Hill Association. Als je van wandelen houdt, zal Monadnock Mountain je beste traktatie zijn - stel je voor om de best bereden berg van de wereld te beklimmen - het was een sensatie voor ons !!!

Gasttevredenheid en plezier van hun tijd hier bij Heaven On Earth in Chimney Hill Resort zijn voor ons van het grootste belang. We houden van reizen en we weten hoe belangrijk schone accommodaties zijn - en met dat doel streven we ernaar. We kochten het huis met de bedoeling om de gasten een spectaculaire locatie en een schoon huis te bieden, maar tegen lagere kosten. Het beroemde gezegde "Je krijgt waar je voor betaald hebt" is hier niet van toepassing. Gasten krijgen aanzienlijk meer dan waarvoor ze hebben betaald.

We hebben dit pand gekocht omdat het zich in een spectaculair gebied van vier seizoenen bevindt. We wilden onze familie en familie een plek bieden waar ze elk moment van het jaar heen konden gaan en zich kunnen ontspannen en opladen in de prachtige natuur. Onze droom is om hier een retraite te vestigen voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar fysieke, mentale en spirituele verjonging. Deze plaats, de cabine en het Mountain Snow-gebied, is een perfecte omgeving om dit op elk moment van het jaar te doen. Het bezit is heel speciaal voor ons en we delen het graag met anderen die het ook speciaal vinden!

Houd er rekening mee dat we uw beveiliging zeer serieus nemen en voorlopige metingen hebben uitgevoerd om uw verblijf elektronisch te bewaken. Er zijn buitencamera's geïnstalleerd voor uw bescherming en wederzijdse verantwoording. We houden het aantal mensen dat de woning binnenkomt, auto- en parkeerveiligheid / problemen en het algemene eigendom intact, nauwlettend in de gaten.

Houd er rekening mee dat de maximale bezetting van 16 personen betrekking heeft op 3 gezinnen met kinderen. De inrichting van onze bedden is niet geschikt voor meer dan 3 stellen. Er geldt een toeslag van $ 25 per persoon per nacht voor elke persoon na 8 personen.

Houd er rekening mee dat we een minimum van 3 nachten nodig hebben voor feestdagen zoals MLK-dag, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Christmas, New Years, etc.

Tijdens de wintermaanden is 4WD een must.

Comfortable cabin with hot tub in a great location

We had a great time at this cabin - the house was well equipped, including spices and condiments that made cooking easy. The hot tub and foozball table were a hit with our family. Access to the Chimney Hill amenities was great while being in the lower neighborhood made it easier to get out and about more quickly.

Nice Clubhouse!

We decided to make a 3-family long weekend trip to Mount Snow because we couldn't find any rentals close to Okemo, which is our preferred mountain. I must admit we booked pretty last minute, so pickings were slim. This listing was the only one that would sleep 12 and allowed dogs, so regardless of some questionable reviews, we decided to go for it. I wouldn't recommend this place for 12 people; the kitchen and dining area is rather small and cramped with a large table, so it was a bit claustrophobic for me personally. I think it would be find with only 2 families, but obviously more expensive per family. As the listing mentioned, there are labels.....SO MANY labels. Imagine taking a P-touch and trying to label EVERYTHING in your house - that's the kind of labeling we're talking about. Not a problem at all, we actually joked about it all weekend and many of the labels are very helpful. You should also be "Christian-friendly" if you stay here. If you have anything against Christianity, this might not be the place for you - it's in your face everywhere. Not an issue for us, but wanted others to be aware. As others have mentioned, the outside is under surveillance and the owner will watch the footage to check your headcount, monitor noise in the hot tub, etc. We knew this going in and while it was a little weird, it was not really a problem. In closing, we had a nice stay but we would not come back to this property. We would recommend to others and thank the owner for having us.

Perfect home base for a ski trip with friends/family

This cabin was a great home base for our group during a New Year's ski trip. It feels much larger once you're inside. The layout is a bit odd, with one of the main bathrooms being through to a main bedroom (which does also have its own beautiful sliding barn door entrance right off the living room), but it worked just fine for us. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin with the fireplace and the hot tub post-skiing. Everything is labeled so there are never any questions. It was a holiday weekend so getting someone out to clear the snow on the roof and salt the steps wasn't possible, so we did need to be extra careful. This was pre-warned by the host. All was well. Jivka was attentive and even helpful post-stay when something was lost. All-in-all a wonderful weekend. We recommend staying here.

Spent time hiking nearby, dining in town & Brattleboro. Loved the cozy comfortable Ed’s of this house. Enjoy some wine & cheese on deck, then jumped into the hot tub. Also, had a lovely espresso by the fire pit. Conveniently located, quiet, clean & comfortable!

Family Gathering

The property is well kept and accurately represented in the listing. We had a multi generational group and the location has a variety of things to do to accommodate many interests. Hiking, boating, swimming, kayaking, relaxing, etc., either on property or within a few minutes drive. Jivka is an exceptional host who is genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable and memorable. We appreciated her clear instructions and knowledge of the area that made this a succesful famly retreat for all of us.

Guys ski trip

Clean place well stocked to cook in with lots of rooms and beds. Living room furniture layout is a bit awkward with most seating on one wall, suggest moving a couch to where TV is maybe, put to on wall below stairs? I dunno what but that is only thing. Hot tub fits 4 easily. The clean up rules are a bit more than typical, hard to accomplish and still get on the first ski lift on last day.

Wonderful stay and great food

Had a family gathering of 8 adults, one infant, a dog and a cat. Everything was great from beginning to end. Jivka provided clear and quick communication. We hired her and her daughter to make us dinner for two nights. Both meals were delicious with some great left overs. This was a real convenience due to Covid. Jivka really impressed us by getting the damaged deck repaired so that we could enjoy the hot tub. The 4 days we spent went by quickly. We even got in a ski day at Mt. Snow. Thanks for the terrific hospitality.

Good, but...

The house is great, way better than the pictures. Very clean, super comfortable and organized. The communication with the host is also very good, she answers any questions you have right away and she tries to make you feel welcome in the property, but she is very controlling. Despite of that, we all had a great time!

Charming, cozy, comfortable and organised.

This was a lovely home in a beautiful location. We’ve stayed in this neighbourhood before and we love the local landscape. The house is very comfortable, spacious, clean and very organised. We like that the host gave clear instruction but we found the labelling (literally lables everywhere) and pages of instructions to be a little over the top. I appreciate an owner checking in but labels everywhere plus a book full of instruction plus texts is over-communicative and doesn’t convey trust in your guests. Also, asking us to turn off outside lights or you forfeit security deposit is extreme. How much does it cost to run some light bulbs? Surely not that much. Tenants using a little extra electricity is a risk you take when you rent your house and should be built into the cost. On the whole, we had a lovely time and the owner’s communication isn’t a huge issues. She was polite and clear. I would recommend this place if you don’t mind a lot of instructions. :)

Incredible!!!!!

WOW! I have had many stays at several different types of places (cabins, townhomes, timeshares, etc.). I have had some good experiences and some not so good. This ranks amongst the best. The cabin was incredible. The home was furnished very appropriately for the setting and location. I have seen many places that offer "complementary" items, but the variety here was next to none. There were several different coffee offerings, some dried food options available and their complement of spices blew me away. Being one who likes to cook, it actually rivaled my spice collection. In the upstairs bathroom there was a shelf that offered many sanitary and hygienic items as well as an offering of some baby related items. We had her 1 year old daughter with us. We almost lost her binky. Had we not found it we were relieved to see that there were several new packaged ones in a bin and available. One comically interesting aspect that we found to be quite useful was their use of labels on almost everything. It provided us with information such as what was available for use (most everything in the cabin) and what was not. The cabin was spacious and offered many rooms and amenities. If there was one "issue" we had, which was not much of a big deal, was the hot tub. We were looking forward to using it. Reading their instructions it was indicated that it could, in cold weather, take up to 2 hours to heat up. It was not particularly cold while we were there and after 2 hours it had not reached the temperature we were looking for. Not too big of a deal since it was late and we were tired anyway but if that is all we had to complain about, I would say it was still a great success. We have already decided to return and stay again having fallen in love not only with the cabin but the area. Note: the property owner was incredibly pleasant to work with. She check in with us a few times during our stay to make sure all was well. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat (unless someone I knew was trying to rent it the same time I was). We can not wait to get back up there. Thanks Jivka!!!!
