I had the most pleasant experience during my stay in Wilmington. Starting even before I arrived. I needed to change my room option from one bed to two and when I called, I spoke to someone who was very friendly during our call and was able to make that change. Upon arrival, another friendly front desk staff member greeted me. I checked in quickly and received two bottles of water. My room was large and nicely appointed. I did not lack anything. Breakfast was a wide variety and very tasty. The Dark Roast coffee, bless you, it was perfectly strong. I am picky and I find coffee can be hit or miss. Thank you for that. Bottled waters were offered at the ready. The water with orange slices at the front desk was a nice touch. Upon checking out, another friendly front desk person thanked me. I noticed that a lot of folks staying here were individuals that chose the Hampton because of its proximity to the hospital, and I feel that the staff, knowing this, were extremely compassionate in their interactions with the guests.
