Welkom bij 'The Gallery!' Eén bezoek en we weten dat u het ermee eens zult zijn dat The Gallery een perfect uitje is voor een retraite voor een koppel of vrienden. 'Een bestemming op zichzelf' zoals een van onze gasten het beste samenvat (zie onze online gastenboeklink hieronder). Parkeer uw voertuig en maak een korte wandeling naar fantastische restaurants, winkels, kunstgalerijen, musea, dansclubs, pubs, cafés, dagspa's, historische rondleidingen, Screen Gem Filmstudio-rondleidingen, live theater en andere lokale attracties - het is allemaal te voet afstand (sommige bestemmingen zelfs op hetzelfde blok als The Gallery)! Of nog beter, leun achterover, ontspan en geniet van de Trolley of de Historic Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride Tour - het is slechts een half blok verderop in Market Street.

De galerij bevindt zich op 112 Market Street in het hart van het prachtige en nostalgische historische district van Wilmington, op een half blok van de rivier!

'The Gallery' is een fantastisch, ontwerper ingericht, twee verdiepingen tellende 'Manhattan style loft' appartement. Mooie bakstenen muren zijn te vinden in de woonkamer, slaapkamer en badkamer; alle geraffineerde hardhouten vloeren; nieuwe hedendaagse Scandinavische meubels / meubels; een uitgebreide verzameling moderne kunst in elke kamer; en prachtige kleur overal! 'Veel stijl en energie' zoals een van onze gasten beschrijft (zie de opmerkingenlink van onze gasten hieronder).

De slaapkamer op de tweede verdieping is prachtig ingericht en heeft een zeer comfortabel, queensize bed, groot dressoir met spiegel, Sony CD / radio / wekker. De luxe lederen bank in de woonkamer heeft een uittrekbare kast. Fijn beddengoed wordt verstrekt voor zowel het queensize bed als de queensize slaper. De galerij is zeer goed uitgerust met de vakantie- en zakenreiziger in gedachten (GRATIS WIFI). Zie onze sectie 'voorzieningen' hieronder voor een volledige beschrijving van alles wat The Gallery te bieden heeft.

Breng de dag door op Wrightsville Beach (slechts enkele minuten) of Bald Head Island en keer terug naar 'The Gallery' om 's avonds de zuidelijke charme van het historische Wilmington te verkennen. En vergeet niet dat alles op loopafstand is als het een late nacht is! We zullen meer dan blij zijn om aanbevelingen voor restaurants, cafés, bezienswaardigheden, enz. Perfect Getaway

Great location, totally unique condo

The Gallery is located right in the historic district, convenient to restaurants and the river walk. We're VRBO veterans and this is by far, the most unique place we've ever stayed! The condo is located in a historic building dating back to the early 1900s. Despite the age of the building, the condo has every modern convenience. Check in was seamless and everything was provided for your comfort. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in Wilmington!

Romantic Weekend Trip

I've had mixed luck on finding great Vrbo's but hit the jackpot with The Gallery. We've saved it as a favorite to revisit another time. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to stay in the Riverwalk district. It's basically on the corner of Front St and Market and close to everything you could need. With the noon checkout, we were able to have a leisurely morning before finding a spot for brunch (Dixie Grill is literally right out the door.) If you don't like a TV in the bedroom, this would be great for you. But, there is a little bit of ambient noise from the streets; you are right at the center of all the bars and clubs, but it wasn't bad at all. We were actually pretty surprised at how quiet it was overall. If you don't/can't do stairs - this is not the place for you. Likewise, it is not an ideal spot for children. We didn't use the kitchen, other than the fridge, but it seemed fully equipped if you were going to stay long enough to want to make some meals. Perfect for a couple, maybe even a trio of friends. We will be back!

Fun little place

Our stay was great! The bed was comfy and the apartment was very cute, a little bigger than I thought it would be. The location was amazing. The only thing is, if you are someone who likes it cool when you sleep, I would suggest bringing a fan since the cooling system can only go down to a certain temperature. The beach chairs were a huge plus and we appreciated that so much. Thank you! We would stay again.

Gem of an Apartment in Downtown Wilmington

The apartment was exactly as described, and very clean and comfortable. The artwork was amazing and the colors were very upbeat. Kitchen was outfitted with everything needed if cooking. Lots of books and DVDs which were great for downtime after a day of sightseeing. Very walkable to restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to the beaches. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at the Gallery for 5 weeks and it was perfect. Everything was clean and nice, the kitchen was just the right size. The location can’t be beat and the Peking garage is very convenient across the street. Liz was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend!

The place is adorable and felt super safe. I was there all weekend by myself and the apartment as well as the surrounding neighborhood was perfect. It was walking distance to everything I wanted to do, including the amphitheater. Try the pizza place across the street!

Wonderful Location

The Gallery was within walking distance to the waterfront and many great downtown locations! The bed was comfortable. The unit was large enough for the 2 of us. Any more than that, it would have felt cramped. The unit was very clean and although in an old, historic building, it didn't have that weird smell that sometimes comes with that which was GREAT! Communication from booking to check-in was outstanding. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay because the instructions were very detailed which was appreciated. The host was very accommodating and always replied when we reached out before we arrived. There isn't much of a view, but that's okay. Location, location, location is why we picked The Gallery, as well as the positive reviews, and we were very happy with our stay.

Hidden gem in Wilmington

We loved our stay here and both agreed it was a great find! Loved the art work and decor. The only advice we could give would be to replace the sofa bed or the mattress. It dips in the center and unless you are a sound sleeper who doesn’t move, you will not be comfortable. However, the bed upstairs is so comfortable and the room is very cozy. This would be the perfect place for a couple or those who may not need 2 beds. Overall, I would definitely return and highly recommend!

Perfect in every way. We are coming back.

You can't go wrong staying here. The home is smack dab in the middle of everything Willmington, but once inside, the outside dissapears and you are living in a beautiful art gallery! Soundproof from the outside and beautiful art everywhere. It really reflects Wilmingtons vibe. Very cool. The space was perfect. Large movie library, clean and convenient. It gave us everything we needed for a long weekend away. Restaurants, music, water and galleries surround you, yet inside you would think you are the only one around. We had the added bonus of hitting the beautiful NC beaches, which are a quick uber away. We felt so fortunate to be here. Liz, the owner, was super helpful and available to us. Checking in was easy. Couldent ask for more. We can't wait to come and visit again!

Fabulous Get-a-way in Downtown Wilmington

Our stay was perfect! Liz was great to deal with and the check-in/ check-out process was a breeze. The property was just as advertised. The location was fabulous and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We would definitely recommend The Gallery to others and will certainly book again in the future. It's right in the heart of downtown but because it's on the back of the building, it's nice and quiet. It's close to the water, restaurants, shops and markets - simply the perfect location.
