Darling Cottage met toegang tot 2 Blanco River Parks!

The Vagabond is een gezellige accommodatie die toegang biedt tot twee begeerde privé-parken in de Blanco-rivier. De rivier ligt op slechts een korte rit bergafwaarts van het huis. In tegenstelling tot sommige delen van de rivier die soms ondiep zijn, is het water diep genoeg om te zwemmen, in een buis of in een vis te drijven. Gelegen aan een van de mooiste delen van de rivier en op slechts 12 minuten rijden langs de schilderachtige River Road van het stadsplein van Wimberley.

Dit heerlijke huisje met twee slaapkamers en een badkamer is ingericht in een huiselijke maar levendige stijl. De grote open woon-, eet- en keukenruimte met gewelfde plafonds is ideaal voor entertainment en het bereiden van een heerlijke maaltijd. Charmante veranda's rond veranda's bieden verschillende zitjes en een terrasschommel om cocktails of ijsthee te drinken en zijn de perfecte plek om buiten te eten. De bosrijke omgeving en vuurplaats bieden een semi-privéomgeving om te ontspannen, marshmallows te roosteren en te genieten van de lokale fauna die door het pand loopt. Er is een buurman aan de andere kant van het huis vanaf de patio waarvan de honden je bij aankomst begroeten met een schors maar op een omheinde tuin staan.

The Vagabond is een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de rivier, maar het is ook gunstig gelegen voor Wimberley en de unieke winkels, restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden. Of u nu een nabijgelegen bruiloft bijwoont, lokale wijnhuizen of naar marktdagen gaat, verblijf hier om het beste uit uw Texaanse heuvellandervaring te halen.

Lovely Cabin

Gorgeous house near river

The house is really cute and really clean! It’s perfect for our family of four. There is one room with a king bed and the second room has two twin beds. The house was clean and decorated nicely. Located in neighborhood but was quiet and quaint. We had deer outside by the back porch every morning/evening and even throughout the day. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. It’s a two minute drive to a parking area by the river. I had to message host regarding WiFi issue with password and they responded quickly and issue was resolved. We had no issues with WiFi connection throughout our stay.

Great place

The place is actually more comfy than the picture showed. Spacious, clean and quiet. I like the taste of host-art work, fabrics colors, lamps and so on- all creat a relaxing feel. 15 mins walk/3 mins drive to the river which only available to local residents. Great privacy to enjoy the summer. We will come back again.

Nice clean house. We saw deer everyday. The owner left feed for the deer. The only issue I had with the rental was all the paperwork and agreements you had to send and resend because they said they never got.

Awesome place for a getaway

The property was awesome. It is in a community but the feel is very “country living”. Didn’t have any issues with any neighbors at all. The property was beautiful and very well cleaned. It had everything we needed for the weekend. Best part was being able to have morning coffee on the porch and watch the deer. The property owners had a bag of corn for the deer that we put out in the morning and the deer come within feet of you. Brought back a lot of great childhood memories when I would feed deer with my grandpa. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone. The owner was great with communication, the town itself is awesome with all the shops, rivers, nature walks. Will be visiting again soon!!

Incredible Blanco River Access

The Blanco River is about as pristine as it gets, and what incredible access to the river that this house gives you. The river is a few blocks away, and it was a breeze to figure out how to access the house's access point that is gated (a few friendly neighbors were also there). The house itself was fun - it felt like you were in the woods. The deer were great - tons of them came up to the house. The house got the job done and was a great place to get to have the river access. If you ever want to get out of Austin and enjoy the Blanco River, this is a great way to do it.

Quiet and relaxing

This property is very cute and was very clean. The neighborhood itself is very quiet which was nice and relaxing for our stay. Their were deer that came every morning and evening to be fed and that was enjoyable. The only thing we didn't love about the property was that it was incredibly close to others and from the pictures it did not look like that. The cabin did have everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall, we loved it and would stay here again. Also, we enjoyed the semi private swimming area!

Last hooray with Nana before school starts back. Blanco river in this area is always refreshing with deep water access. The Vagabond, although not directly on river, was conveniently located and thoroughly stocked.

Baseball tournament getaway

We absolutely loved our home away from home during our son’s baseball tournament. It was a perfect quiet place to unwind between the hot games. The house was clean and cozy, the river access was our own little paradise. The deer in the neighborhood would walk right up to our patio with their babies! Such a beautiful place, we will definitely be back!!

This is our favorite vacation spot and house. Back again and we stay here every chance we get. The deer got a whole bag of corn and extra munchies this time also. The house was cozy and clean! We loved the river, private area for neighborhood only. The swimming was awesome and spots to also put your chair and relax. We also loved how close we were to the shops. We had to drive to all areas but still very close.

Perfect spot for Re-Energizing your life!

We loved the deer in the neighborhood, they would come right up to you and take fruit or vegetables right out of your hand! The house was clean the bed was comfortable and it was a peaceful quiet place to relax and unwind from the daily grind! The two river parks were wonderful especially the river road park, the water was clear and we just floated to nowhere!!!

Beautiful getaway

My husband and two sons and I had so much fun here! The house is nice had everything we needed. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Porch was nice to sit out and relax and watch the deer. The water access points, you do need to drive to them but it is only a couple of minute drive and the water is so pretty. That is all my kids wanted to do, we didn’t really need to leave the neighborhood to do anything else. We really loved it here and would definitely come back!

Nice and relaxing

The property was very nice and well kept. Plenty of towels, linens, and nicely stocked kitchen. We needed a short, quiet getaway and this was perfect. Yes, there are bugs, it's the Hill Country, that is expected, especially at night and outside. This just comes with the territory. The bathroom does get quite a few little flying bugs at night for some reason, but we figured out that leaving the lights on at night solves the problem. Easy, and close access to the river park. Drove over and parked at the edge. All in all, it's a great place!

A little disappointing

This was my first experience with VRBO and I'm a little disappointed. The photographs were very misleading, particularly in that they suggested this was a private, quiet location close to the river. It wasn't. There was construction type noise during the day and lots of people around on the streets. The river is not close by. The place did not seem very clean to me, there were big stains on the carpet, there were inspects inside the house, and we couldn't get the TV to work at all without having to type in our account information for streaming channels. The pillows on the bed were so flat that it was as though there was no pillow at all. It just wasn't comforable and I just expected more.
