Pro: The area is secluded and the views are perfect. The cabin is surrounded by trees and definitely provides a cabin in the woods vibe. I came to try to see the meteor shower but unfortunately, it rained most of the trip. However, I enjoyed getting to use the fireplace as the temperature dropped. The outdoor space was wonderful and the jacuzzi worked great. I loved seeing deer out and about in the daylight, as well as all the birds, including the cardinals that showed up each morning. I really enjoyed walking around the property and all of the parks in the area.
Con: I did not like the narrow one-lane bridge you have to cross to get the the property. It should have guardrails. The water filter needed to be changed and beeped the entire night during the first night. Luckily, with the help of the host it was fixed. Lastly, there were a lot of rules; keep pets on leash, don't let pets on furniture, don't pop fire crackers, no firearms, don't use too much water, don't turn the jacuzzi up higher, don't go off the property, don't move the furniture, take out the trash before going, turn everything off before leaving, clean all the dishes before leaving, don't leave any food, don't use a lot of toilet paper, don't bring the grey towels outside only the colorful ones, don't use too much firewood in the fireplace, no smoking, no illegal substances, no parties, no loud noises, etc. It was a bit much for a cabin in the woods.
