Weekend trip to get away & explore the Hill Country. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood with great privacy. The view from the deck and firepit is wonderful. Highly recommend, perfect for a couple to get away & unwind!

Wonderful property located in a quiet and secluded location yet only 10 minute drive from Wimberly. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Great hosts that were very responsive and helpful. This property was exactly what we hoped for for a long weekend away and highly recommend it.

Other than the Texas Heatwave the state is going through right now it was much needed to get away for a few days! Would love to come back and stay at this property again, maybe under cooler Fall temps sometime down the road!

Fabulous Stay at This Property

This property is beautiful. Everything is well appointed and the maximized every square inch. The balcony has these amazing views of the valley and two ponds, one on the property. The house is secluded, so you feel like you have the Hill Country all to yourself. The owners are so friendly, and their management company is on top of things. Highly recommend!!!

Great weekend escape!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Pura Vida and enjoyed it more the 2nd time around! Great views, love the windows and sun coming into the home. The fire pit is a great place to sit and relax. The home offers all the amenties needed and an added benefit of heated floors in the bathroom, making it a very nice touch! I enjoyed taking walks around the home, neighborhood and into Wimberly which was far enough to feel away in the hill country. I would recommend this property 100% for a great couples and or single time getaway!

The Best Property Ever!!!

I wish I could give this property more stars! Like my husband said, we felt like we were staying at a friend or family members home, it was the most comfortable, clean, well-stocked place we've ever stayed in. The property manager was very responsive, the view was amazing, the bed VERY comfy. Unfortunately, it rained almost the whole time we were there, but that only makes us want to return to stay again!!

Beautiful Home and Property

Loved sitting out on the balcony and feeling the breeze. We enjoyed listening to the birds during the day and frogs at night. The home is beautifully done and the space is very well thought out. We felt very comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed in and did not go to town one of our nights. Thank you! We will be back.

Nice views and very private

First of all, driving into this “area” where the house was located, I was blown away by the beauty of the nature, wildlife and homes. The house itself was perfect and the balcony was very private with great views of the sunrise. The house was totally equipped with anything you might need while there! The place was very well setup and the heated floor in the bathroom was such a nice treat!! We would definitely stay here again! We loved visiting the town of Wimberley. Very quaint downtown and everyone was so friendly! Lots of places that were dog friendly and that means a lot to us!!

Peaceful getaway

This location is perfect! The views and tranquility were a breath of fresh air from the city life. I will say there is a flight of stairs you have to go up to get to the room, so be ready to haul your luggage and pets up it. Definitely worth going back to.

Fantastic weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at Pura Vida! My husband and I drove down from Austin with our dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a more lovely retreat. The deck overlooking the pond was so tranquil, and we had a wonderful time watching all the birds. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, and even came equipped with s’mores supplies. The chimenea on the deck was great, as was the fire pit area. We also loved the heated tile floors in the bathroom - an unexpected but great touch! We also loved all the cows roaming the neighborhood! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend getaway

Overall it was a nice weekend getaway. The property feels very secluded and the views are amazing. It’s a perfect place for a couple. I took away one star because when we arrived we noticed the bathroom faucet was on full blast and one of the mirrors was laying on the floor. Also some of the dishes that were in the cabinet did not look very clean.

Weekend getaway

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday and IT WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR!!!!! The house is amazing and the surrounding grounds are quiet and beautiful. Spent the day hiking, going to wineries, shopping in town and then spent the night by the fire pit with music and wine looking at the stars!! House was extremely clean and fully stocked. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch on the cooler mornings!! The kitchen was fully stocked and we did not have to run to the store for anything! It's about a 10 minute drive into downtown Wimberley which is far enough away to not hear the cars or city noise. I highly recommend this place....you will not be disappointed!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property and house is beautiful. Even better in person than online. Internet being slow is literally the only complaint we could make, but it pushed us to do more outside which was fantastic.

Relaxing getaway!

We stay at a lot of vacation rentals, and this one was one of the best. House is well appointed with anything we need, clean, and beautiful! Beautiful views and great location. The breeze in the balcony in the afternoons was a nice relief from the summer heat. We walked around the pond and visited Jacob’s Well. We look forward to coming back for another relaxing getaway!
