'Heel fijne plek om te verblijven. Mooie kamer, gezellige tuin en vooral een prima ontbijt. Goeie uitvalsbasis voor de activiteiten die we wilden doen (wandeling Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon, Lynton…)'

'Very quiet location, excellent views, warm and welcoming upon arrival. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area'

'Wonderful, friendly, local on a lovely street. Some great scenery and local walks. Pub next door. Great traditional B&B. James and Jane are very caring and want your stay the best it can be.'

'Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand.'

'Heel fijn hotel in het prachtige natuurgebied Exmoor'

'We absolutely loved our stay. Our room (Danesbrook) was beautiful, with a great view and a really comfy bed. We loved the honesty bar which was well stocked and very reasonably priced. We didn't try the chef prepared ready meals but the selection looked good. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. EV charger was 47p per kWh which saved us a bunch on public charging. Tennis and squash also available!'

'Staff very rude'

'Lovely room, however kettle was in the hallway, not an issue for me but had to keep reminding myself to pick up the key. Parking was challenging and in the early week you have to travel to eat, so car is needed'

'Unfortunately we only had a one night stay at the Lorna Doone hotel in Porlock. The Hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of the village with all nice shops nearby. Staff is uber-friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Next time I hope we can stay a bit longer.'

'Cheap place to stay and ales were good.staff was great'

'Het was een mooie, leuke, gezellig en echt Engels hotel met vriendelijke eigenaren en het was erg persoonlijk, alsof het een B&B was. De eigenaren stonden dichtbij hun huurders. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Omgeving is prachtig! Het doet meteen Engels aan. We hebben er dezelfde avond van aankomst heerlijk rondgewandeld. Het maakte het tot een heel goed begin van onze vakantie! '
