The Property:
Featuring three bedrooms and one bathroom, the open-plan lounge and dining areas of the apartment are bright and light with double doors opening onto a small balcony with views towards Lake Windemere – a perfect spot for a cup of tea or sundowners. The dining table seats six with ease, and the comfortable sofas offer some relaxing respite after busy days! The fully-equipped kitchen has everything needed to cater for your getaway, and the modern bathroom offers a shower over the bath, plus there is a separate toilet. The bedrooms – one king-sized and two twins - are spacious, comfortable and stylishly decorated, with new beds that promise a great night’s sleep!
Guest Verification and Good Housekeeping Bond or Waiver:
Once your booking is confirmed, we request a contact email address, mobile phone number and a photo of a Government ID as part of the guest verification process. Also, to encourage all guests to respect the property and its contents, we ask for a refundable Good Housekeeping Bond of £400 to be placed as a hold against a card by your card issuer, or alternatively, we allow guests to pay a non-refundable £40 Bond Waiver. Completing these two steps is mandatory as it allows access to your personalised Boarding Pass which provides all the details for your stay, advice about activities, electronic manuals, directions to the property and the latest key safe code. This Boarding Pass is provided in conjunction with Enso Connect.
The Area:
The apartment is set in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere - a picturesque town situated on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere. This makes it the perfect base to enjoy water activities such as boating, sailing, kayaking, and fishing. The lake is also surrounded by beautiful landscapes, making it a popular spot for walks and picnics, as well as outdoor activities like cycling, horse riding, rock climbing and zip-lining. Be sure to take a boat trip on the lake and visit The World of Beatrix Potter, which celebrates the life and work of this beloved children`s author. In the village itself, visitors can enjoy quaint streets lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs and history enthusiasts will enjoy nearby ancient ruins, historic houses, and heritage railways.
