'It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! 'The place looks great in the photos which show panoramic ocean views. Our room had no view. They make a big deal out of it being pet friendly with special quilts just for dogs. Our room had a couple of throw rugs which seemed out of place. We wondered if they were added to cover accidents left by friendly pets. The furnishings were in the cheap side.'

'Swimming in the river was the best part of the trip. Bring your water shoes; there are rocks and I almost lost my sandals three times . Bring an extra fan for the tent. If you are in a tent; bring a portable umbrella for the outside. Our bench was not covered by the trees most of the day and the sun was strong. 'Loved everything about the cottage we had with exception that kitchen was missing dish washing sponge . Cannot say about amenities as didn’t use any but definitely will be back as loved it & location was awesome too! All staff from check-in to cleaning staff were great!'
