Downtown Baraboo Blu-Mae Marie Folk House

Het Blu-Mae Marie Folk House is meer dan een eeuw oud huis met een unieke uitstraling en charme.

De hoofdslaapkamer met een kingsize bed bevindt zich op de begane grond. De 3 overige slaapkamers bevinden zich boven. In de 2e slaapkamer vindt u een comfortabel queensize sleebed. Deze rustige kamer is ruim en bevat een extra grote stoel om te lezen. De 3e slaapkamer heeft ook een queensize bed en een boekenplank met een overvloed aan boeken voor alle leeftijden. De 4e slaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed. Er is ook een ligbad boven.

Op de begane grond vindt u de formele eetkamer, elegante woonkamer met een slaapbank, een keuken in boerderijstijl en een halve badkamer. Er is ook een klassieke veranda rondom en afgeschermd in de veranda achter. Er is ook een grote tuin en terras!

Het Blu-Mae Marie Folk House ligt in een geweldige rustige buurt op loopafstand van het centrum van Baraboo en andere lokale bezienswaardigheden.

We enjoy staying here because it has a lot of room , the neighborhood is nice and quiet and it’s close, but far enough from Main Street Wisconsin dells. They added a washer and dryer this year, which with kids and wet beach towels every day is very nice to have. Thank you for allowing us to stay again. Hope to be back next year.

Beautiful Home - Perfect Getaway

This home was absolutely perfect for a girls trip away! Perfect location in Baraboo, close to downtown and about 16 minutes away from the Dells. We enjoyed the proximity to local places, as well as the homeyness of the house. We had a few days in, where the house was a safe, relaxing place. The owner is awesome with communication, and clear on check-in and check-out procedures. Would recommend this place to any who want a place that is cozy and close to all attractions!

The house was so fun to stay in! The bedrooms were a decent size and all the rooms had fans. There were three different tables in three different areas to use! The backyard had chairs to sit outside. The kitchen had all we needed. The neighbors were friendly. It was great to be able to walk to the distillery and the downtown area. The hosts had everything organized well in the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home in a lovely city

The house was charming, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our only gripe was that the salt shaker was empty. LOL! The location was ideal for walking around town and seeing what Baraboo had to offer! We didn’t need to drive at all during our trip! We all had a fun and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The town was super cozy, the house was lovely and had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was small, but well stocked and clean. There were plenty of towels and bedding and all that. Checkout was a simple process, no wild requirements.

Perfect location, very quiet, great communication from host

We had a small family group and this was the perfect house for us. We came for the Great Midwest Crane Festival. The house was so cozy and quiet. It is very close to the Baraboo town square. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with dishes/pots/pans. The host was very responsive and had great communication. Note the stairs are very steep to the upstairs where the shower is located. Important to note if you are mobility-challenged. The house was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

The grandparents generation stayed at this property for a family reunion. Was perfect: well kept, cozy and comfortable. This was 2nd time we stayed at this property. Was very comfortable and spacious. We had 10 family members and all had beds to sleep in. The weather cooperated so we were able to enjoy Land of Natura and Noah’s ark water park. We hope to stay at this property again.

Comfortable character home close to Devil's Lake and Dells

This quaint character home was perfect for us when we visited Devils Lake State Park. Mom and Dad got the king bedroom on the main floor and the kids had the 3 upstairs bedrooms to themselves. Despite being only a block or two from downtown Baraboo it was very quiet, and there is a small school playground across the street that we took advantage of during our July trip The hosts communicated with us immediately upon check-in and again later when we reported a minorl issue. Would highly recommend!

Great location, short walk to restaurants and bars, clean with plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Property manager very friendly and responsive to our questions. Fully stocked kitchen however there was not an ice maker, plastic bags, Saran Wrap, tin foil, seasonings so plan to bring these items if you need them. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
