Geniet van de privacy, rust en stilte van dit nieuw gebouwde huis met twee verdiepingen op 27 hectare bosland en toch op slechts enkele minuten van Wisconsin Dells, Devil's Lake State Park, Mirror Lake SP, Rocky Arbor SP, Natural Bridge SP, Parfey's Glen State Natural Area, Circus World Museum, Ho-Chunk Casino, de Merrimac Ferry, Durwards Glen, Lake Wisconsin en Baxter's Hollow.

De eerste verdieping beschikt over ultramoderne keuken, comfortabel ingerichte woonkamer, eethoek, tv-kamer en een complete badkamer.

De tweede verdieping biedt drie slaapkamers - een grote slaapkamer met een kingsize bed, een grote badkamer en een inloopkast, een tweede en derde slaapkamer, beide met queensize bedden. Alle drie de slaapkamers bieden uitzicht op de schilderachtige bossen van Wisconsin.

Couples hiking weekend home base

A perfect location in Baraboo close. We hiked Devils Lake, Parfrey’s Glen and Pewit’s Nest. The house was very fitting for our 3 couples get away. Clean, comfortable, and peaceful! The owner Cal was very thorough with check-in info and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Secluded getaway

Very comfortable and private rental with easy access to Baraboo, Devils Lake, Wisconsin Dells and nearby hiking trails. Neighborhood is quiet but close to main roads. You will also see plenty of deer and possibly wild turkeys as we did. Excellent!

Great Baraboo stay

We had 3 couples there for our stay, there was plenty of room for all of us for dining, relaxing, even the bathrooms are surprisingly large! The location can’t be beat, we were a few miles from the park, downtown Baraboo and many restaurants. We watched deer wander thru the yard each morning, it’s a peaceful quiet environment close to everything!

Great escape

This was our second stay on this property, and it was even better than the first. We are in love with with the back porch, which sits right In the woods. We saw wild turkey and deer while sitting out there. The home itself is very comfortable and clean, and the lovely little town of Baraboo is just a short drive away. We hope to stay here again.

Wonderful country property!

We loved the isolated location, yet within a half- hour drive of the Dells. Also close to Devil’s Lake, and boy am I glad we stopped by to hike this amazing state park…incredible views! The only negative is having to haul all of your trash out...a bit difficult when you arrive out of state by car and have no spare room. It would be nice to have this requirement listed upfront in the VRBO listing description, rather than in the post-purchase communication.

Forest glory

This is a truly beautiful property. Secluded and surrounded by beautiful forest. The house is immaculate and well appointed. Perfect location with lots of hiking and outdoor activities in close proximity. Just down the road from Baraboo to re-supply or go for a meal. Would definitely stay here again.

Cal was wonderful to communicate with. The property as just as described and the home was very clean, well furnished and very comfortable to stay in. It was everything promised and more! Local wildlife walked by the big patio windows in the morning. The house itself was incredibly beautiful and well maintained. Acres of woods surrounded the property giving it the illusion that we were in the middle of nowhere, but we were only about 10 minutes away from town. It was very hard to leave.

We absolutely loved the location. We were able to take a short drive to many hikes in the area. Only 15 minutes to Baraboo for restaurants and grocery stores, but it feels so secluded in the woods. The house was also bigger than we expected, which was an added bonus.

This is a beautiful home in a secluded woodsy area. Yet only a few miles from shopping in Baraboo and from Devil's Lake State Park. We hit the height of fall tree colors and loved seeing the beauty out the many downstairs windows. The house was one of the best rentals we had. Perfect for our BFF retreat.

Quiet Forest Getaway

Perfect peace and quiet on the beautiful Baraboo bluffs. A backdrop of lush forest green at every window, makes you exhale just thinking about it! Plenty of space for a family of 5 to spread out, and a fire pit to enjoy the starry nights.

Very nice property, enjoyed our stay...

we enjoyed our stay, some very minor details could be fix.....i.e. the light and fan in the master bath wasn't working. my wife and I are coffee drinkers, so a larger coffee pot would be nice, a 12 cup instead of a 5 cup....petty I know but if you drink coffee it was a pain.....all in all we loved the property and would rent again, and bring our own pot......
