'This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. There was ample room for everyone; fun activities like ping pong and corn hole. We just had the best time and I am glad I found this...

'I like the a frame and owner was nice enough to allowed me to store my custom made kayaks in the garage. Liked the lake except for the Casting for Kids pro bass fishing Tournament. This is no place for a kayak while it’s in progress. Fortunately, Grayson Lake is in driving distance. Grayson has got to be the coolest flat water kayak lake. There is a nice 7 mile loop for hiking close by. '

'The cabin and property were excellent. We enjoyed the porch and set up croquet on the yard. Beds were great. Five grandchildren stayed in the upstairs bedroom with plenty of room. Having their own private deck tickled them. The Twister game at the cabin was a huge hit. '

'We came to Kentucky for the Rock The Country concert in Ashland. Although it was a little bit of a drive to Ashland, the house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone had their own space. The house is an older farm house and even though it needs some updating and maintenance, it didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay. It has everything you could need and more. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. We would definitely recommend...

'Everyone LOVED the stay. The pool was the best personal pool I have ever rented. Its HUGE! The place was spotless and had everything you need to intertain kids of all ages. Trails where great too. I wish we could have stayed longer. We plan on renting it again for sure. '

'Really liked the old house feel but very noisy by road'

'It was a wonderful apartment to stay in. The owners were even nice to put a rollaway bed in for our little boy. It was nice and clean. The air conditioner worked fantastic. It’s also decently close to Paintsville and Prestonsburg, which was a plus.'

Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space.'
