'I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!'

'The check-in experience wasn't as welcoming as I expected. The indoor pool and spa were under renovation during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the room was spacious, clean, and featured a nice fireplace that made it feel cozy. 'First thing you notice ,when you check in ,is the musky smell .My wife notice it immediately ,it was a total negative for her.The room was clean .The king size bed was awful ,along with the pillows.My wife did like the shower hot waster.Low scores were because of the bed and pillows..'

Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! 'We had a wonderful stay at Talta Lodge. The grounds were beautiful, and the river was a peaceful place to relax. The complimentary morning coffee was a great way to start each day.
