Grote open ruimtes, een eigentijdse plattegrond en een goede, esthetische aangename doorstroom maken deze unit ideaal voor entertainment en sociale contacten met je metgezellen. Dit huis beschikt ook over een verzonken woonkamer met een open haard, een formele eetkamer en een royale, beschutte veranda.

De uitnodigende achtertuin van de accommodatie biedt een rotsformatie van 30 voet, gas- en houtskoolbarbecuegrills van Weber en een enorm gazon, ideaal voor tuinspellen en familiefeesten.

Worked great!!

The house was great for 6 adults with room to spare. It has everything we needed and the new kitchen and bathroom are beautiful! We loved relaxing in the sunroom. Location to surrounding towns was great!

A magical, restful stay

We had wonderful 6 week retreat at Casa Real over the summer. The house was very well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets and supplies one might need for a long stay. Our favorite part was the backyard, the trees surrounding it form a nature sanctuary where we spent every morning and evening. We had some fun visitors - a family of deer with their fawns and even a bear! We also loved the neighborhood, close to so many wonderful things like the Ashokan Rail Trail and the Big Deep swimming hole, and the walk around the Holly Hills loop. David and Rolando were easy to communicate with, helpful and available. We're so grateful for our stay.

Beautiful Large House - Perfect for Relaxing Getaway

The house and yard were even better than the pics online. We had 7 adults, and we all fit comfortably, with room to spare. The decor in the house is just fantastic, with lots of mid-century modern pieces. The back yard is large and fairly secluded, and the fire pit is great for kicking back and shooting the breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and off the beaten path, but there is a great walking loop that takes you around the area in a quick 20 minutes or so. The location is also great for making trips and forays into Woodstock and Saugerties. You can drive to Woodstock in about 5 minutes, so multiple trips, even in the same day, are a breeze. This is just a great place, and we're looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Perfect Winter Getaway!

Midcentury dream house that had everything you could need for a perfect getaway! Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking big meals, bar/glassware to mix up those cocktails, the interior design was impeccable..furniture was stylish but also comfortable (I'm looking at you giant comfy couch by the fireplace) the beds were really great as well. We had 3 families and if was plenty of room for all. Great location, close to town and grocery store, in a neighborhood but still felt private. Outdoor fire pit/hot tub were fantastic! Can't wait to come back!

Somehow even better than expected

My group and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Casa Real! There have been many upgrades that weren't photographed, so the home was even better than expected. There was a baby grand piano! The hot tub was an amazing feature too. It was our first time checking out Woodstock and I couldn't believe how cool the town was. An indie lover's dream. We will definitely be back! The only thing I will note is there wasn't much hot water in the house, so most showers were just slightly warm. Other than that, this home was truly perfection.

Thanksgiving with the family.

Beautiful location. Lovely to walk the neighborhood and great restaurants close by. We’ll-stocked kitchen, but a tiny bit rough. It could use an update but worked sufficiently well for us to prepare a full Thanksgiving feast. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy quiet time. Would be lovely to visit in warmer weather, too.

Mid Century Modern Home with lots of character

Amazing home! We truly appreciated all of the character and space in the house. The bathrooms were so cool, I love that the house was restored and not renovated. The furniture in the home fit the period and style of the house but was still so comfortable! The beds were super comfortable and all the rooms were a generous size. The house is a short drive to downtown Woodstock which was beautiful and very artsy. The backyard was nice and private with a great fire pit and outdoor patio that was just redone. This house is a gem, for anyone who appreciates mid century modern its a must see, we will definetly be back!

Casa Real was Casa Unreal

This is a 1960's house, not a modern rendition of that era but a house that has but barely been altered since it was built. In general the house we rented does not fit the VRBO/Evolve description of it. The house's location is good, the beds are new and comfortable, and the hot tub is new, clean, and hot, but little else positive can be said about this rental. Four couples gathered here and we managed to enjoy each other's company but the house was not really a big part of our enjoyment. The kitchen has many issues. The countertops are painted formica, the original wood cabinets have been painted white but the hardware was reused. The appliances are reasonably new but the kitchen has the original floor plan which makes having more than two people in it nearly impossible. The refrigerator door opens in the wrong direction blocking a kitchen entryway and making access to its contents difficult. The cook top leaves a lot to be desired functionality. The pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery are OK but the kitchen drawers are jammed full of many items that mostly are duplicates and they are so full that it's difficult to find any one particular item. The countertops are crammed with appliances restricting the space in which one can prepare meals and there are multiples of every item imaginable in the cabinets and drawers which only adds to the chaos. No one has paid attention to the usability of this kitchen and cooking in it presents numerous challenges. One of the four bathrooms has been renovated but not the other three, which are straight from the 60's and can accurately be described as disgusting. Although there are 4 bathrooms listed two are within one bedroom: literally his and hers bathrooms of which one is very awful and in need of immediate replacement. Two other bedrooms share the renovated bathroom and the fourth bedroom has a bathroom adjacent to it. That bedroom also has the washers and dryers in one if its closets meaning that anyone doing laundry must walk into that bedroom. There is no organic flow-through to the layout of the rooms. The formal living room is essentially wasted space, with a white baby grand piano taking up a big chunk of space and it is terribly out of tune. We rarely used that room. The sunken den and living room represent tripping hazards and the arched doorways throughout the house add to the poor flow through. The couch in the den is deep and low and generally uncomfortable. Not all of the bedrooms have dressers. The exterior is desperately in need of maintenance. Moss covers the driveway, walkways, and exterior stucco. The screens have leaf litter and spider webs on them, the gutters are clogged, the exterior plants have not been trimmed or maintained and the swampy land adjacent to the house guarantees that your outdoor time during the warmer months will be mosquito filled. The house is very obviously a total rental, with absentee landlords and the property has been allowed to deteriorate. We used the screened-in back porch a lot but had to block two soffit spaces with cardboard to prevent mosquitoes from getting in. And lastly, the sliding door to the screened-in porch was extremely difficult to open and close. It must be original equipment, typical for this house. Most of the descriptions on the VRBO/ Evolve websites are sugarcoated and are not as wonderful as described. We cannot in good conscience recommend this property, unless the owners pay significantly more attention to the house they are renting.

Great place for a family trip

We stayed at Casa Real for a long weekend. My wife and I, 2 kids (3 and 7), and my parents. The space was great for all of us and everyone was comfortable. The property is like a time warp in all the best ways. The furniture is comfortable and cool and fits the home. Location was great.

Fabulous stay at Casa Real!

We had a fabulous 65th birthday celebration with family and friends and the house (inside & out) was absolutely perfect!! I loved all the furnishings and the attention to detail in all the rooms. The beds were amazingly comfortable with luxury hotel quality sheets, pillows and comforters. The outdoors was beautifully done with a lovely fire pit and tables outside. The hot tub was great very clean and in excellent working condition. Excellent location just minutes away from Woodstock. Highly recommend this beautiful home especially for a larger group or a special oak occasion.

Fabulous stay at Casa Real!

This beautiful expansive home was everything that was advertised and more! There were 7 of us (family and friends) for my 65th birthday celebration. The house is extremely unique with everything chosen with care and a keen eye. The house is large with many large rooms to spread out in and ample seating areas both indoor and out for eating and relaxing. I especially loved the dining room and the screened in porch. The bedrooms are all a good size and 3 of them have king sized beds! A real treat coming from a small bedroom in Brooklyn. The sheets, pillows and beds were extremely comfortable with high fancy hotel quality. I loved the mattress so much I will look into getting one at home. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of cabinets & drawers so you need to look around to find what you are looking for. The outdoor space was also amazing with a number of tables and chairs and a lovely fire pit that we really enjoyed. The hot tub was great and very clean and in good working condition. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub! The owners were extremely accommodating and replied promptly when we had an issue with the AC on a very hot day. The technician came right away and fixed it and he didn’t disrupt any of our plans. The location is great close to everything and a Hannafords supermarket right up the road for basic needs. We were so busy running around with activities I wish we had more time to just relax at the house.

Relaxing Stay

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend and loved our time at Casa Reál. The house was spotless and the perfect size for a group of four. It's a large home that's fully equipped with everything you'd need - kitchen appliances [including an air fryer!], a huge amount of spices, all kinds of pots and pans, lots of blankets, full sized shampoo/conditioner and body wash in every bathroom, etc. The hot tub was the highlight - very clean and pretty big. The house is also extremely close to town - about a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and close to everything Woodstock!

Very large home with eclectic decor. Plenty of room for multiple couples or a large family. At the end of a cut de sac in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace (plenty of wood provided). Super comfy beds, too.

A lovely retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Reál. The house is great and the grounds pretty private, which is what we were looking for coming from the city. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a lot of cooking, beds were super comfortable, and everything very clean. We loved the hot tub too! The house is in close proximity to plenty of stores and markets and a short drive to the town of Woodstock, which is lovely. Thank you for having us!

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Real. The house is beautiful inside and out, and very conveniently located. Everything was perfect from the large comfortable bedrooms, to the awesome hot tub. We definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Casa Real! The check-in process was smooth and the house is extremely comfortable. We’ll definitely rent this house again!

Exactly What We Needed

This place is as beautiful as it looks and we had a WONDERFUL time. Location is perfect and the property and interior are simply divine. We have a 2yr old so we had to move a handful of breakable items so that she didn't do any damage but otherwise we found it very kid friendly. We can't wait to stay here again in the future.

Great stay

We just got back from a 5 night stay and had a blast. the house was great, the owners were attentive and easy to deal with. the only downside was we wanted to stay longer than we originally booked but couldnt!! The beds were fantastic, so comfrotable and very cozy duvets which makes a huge difference. The fireplaces inside and outside were great and they had plenty of wood available for us to have fires nightly. The hot tub was perfect as well. Very cool space, we highly recommend. We will likely come back.

Amazing and unique home

Our group of friends had the best times. The minute you walk into the home it has the best vibes. Clean property with tons of common space and big bedrooms. The beds are all plush and comfy. We loved the artwork in the home. You are a 6 min drive from all the great spots in Woodstock! Our group of friends loved just playing games and hanging out. Great backyard views. Highly recommended! Owners make check in and check out easy. They are quick to respond l.
