'The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley. The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately.'

'Spacious, comfy bedroom for our family of 4. We all enjoyed the swimming pool facilities, as well as the TNT football, which the staff kindly put on for me to watch Palace's famous Community Shield victory over Liverpool, while being served a number of perfectly chilled draught Stellas from the bar. The breakfast was also reasonably priced (children up to 14 eat free) and very tasty. Thank you for a memorable stay!'
