About This Space

The Deer Creek Cabin is a 3 bed (+ loft with full futon), 2 bath A-frame located within the Innsbrook Resort near Alpine Lake. This brand new chalet sits on a private wooded lot with its own creek and offers an abundance of privacy and wildlife to enjoy. Onsite amenities include a deck, gas grill, fire pit area, kids treehouse, and a wood burning indoor fireplace.

The Indoor Space-
This beautiful A-frame is a perfect retreat for multiple families up to 10 people. There's a king bed in the downstairs bedroom, a queen bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms, two queen beds in the second upstairs bedroom, and a full futon in the loft area.

The main level has a full bath with a shower and the second floor has a full bath with a shower/tub combo. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, cookware, dishes, glassware, silverware, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, crockpot, ground coffee maker, and basic oils and spices. Paper towels, dish soap, and toilet paper provided.

The chalet offers a large television, a deck for outdoor dining and entertaining, a gas grill, and a washer and dryer. For those working remotely, the chalet also offers WiFi to help you stay connected and productive. We do not currently have cable but feel free to use your streaming app services.

Directly behind the chalet, through the private woods, you will be delighted to find a conversation fire pit area with chairs, a brand new two-level playhouse for kids, and a private creek! The playhouse has a seating area, slide, and climbing wall that is guaranteed to keep the little ones entertained for hours!

Two kayaks and two canoes are located at nearby beaches for your enjoyment. Paddles, beach towels, sand toys, and bag chairs are conveniently located at the chalet for you. (not available from Nov 20- April 5).

Perfect Place for a Retreat
The wooded, private chalet hosted by Emily Plackmeier was the perfect place for a work retreat. Our team was able to relax in the beautiful chalet, giving us the much-needed time and space to develop strategic plans for our organization. We found the chalet was beyond our expectations, and even though our purpose was for work, the team was sending photos of the place to book future trips with their family. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for a fun family trip or a place to retreat for work. Not only will you be thrilled with the accommodations, but you will be taken care of by the fabulous host!

Beautiful Property
We had a great stay with 5 adults and 5 children for a long weekend. The house had everything we needed - beds were comfortable, everything was extremely clean and well kept, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The only minor thing we were surprised by was the jungle gym and fire pit were down a short hill through the woods from the house and we were expecting them to be closer and in a more open area.

The property is beautiful, well-kept, and well-stocked with extras like fuzzy throw blankets and beach towels. We loved our stay! The resort itself is more extensive and remote than we expected, but there’s a market/Starbucks on the property as well as several excellent restaurants for dining close!

Overall fun
It was great! Only issue we had was finding the house. Typed in the address for the chalet and it took us to a gated community that wouldn’t let us through. Had to turn around and drive another 30min when it said we were 15min away. It was also hard to locate the chalet once in innsbrook. Assuming because it is so new. Everyone in my group that drove, ended up at the gated community and wasn’t allowed through. I would recommend have guest typing the address to golf course which will get you to the main gate, then searching for the address to the chalet. Beside getting lost, everything was perfect! When we book again, would definitely love to say here!
