Gebouwd in 1940, het heeft een mix van de traditionele en de moderne.

    Het hoogste niveau is voorzien van een mooi ingerichte open keuken / woonkamer - een grote bijeenkomst plaats na een dag in de zon. Geniet van een diner in de gezellige, buiten tochtportaal. Twee slaapkamers en een badkamer bevinden zich op dit niveau met toegang tot het bad vanuit 1 slaapkamer en vanaf de veranda. Boven heeft 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers.

Older beach house had so much charm. Easy access to beach and many great restaurants within walking distance. We loved it and will definitely rent is again.

We had a lovely time! Plenty of room and everything we needed! The wraparound porch is delightful for morning coffee and evening wind down. The sights and sounds of the ocean were soothing!

Great Family Home!

We loved staying at this beach cottage! There was plenty of space for our family, and the number of bathrooms and bedrooms made it perfect for our family. You cannot beat the location-the beach access is terrific, and the cute shops and restaurants are right down the street. Wonderful place to stay- we will definitely be back!

Charming beachfront cottage but you can’t see the ocean due to the height of the dune. I wouldn’t plan on making elaborate meals bc the dishwater is older and small stove is electric. We all found it cozy and AC worked perfectly. The TV was also small but worked fine in the living room. We didn’t get the one to work in the master. The porch is great but a gate would be better since you allow pets. The only annoying part is uncontrollable which is the number of cars that do a U-turn seeking parking. The public beach access is nonstop and should also be a consideration. Communication was excellent as was the check in and check out process.

Great house

This is a great house. Wonderful wrap around porch, comfortable beds and very clean. Its only issue is that you cannot see the ocean from the deck because of the height of the dunes. The property managers are fantastic and were immediately there to help when needed.

Beachy cottage

The location is great and the house is large and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone inside and out on the porch. Light and bright upstairs. Only thing missing was a grill which would have been useful since the kitchen is tired. We would definitely stay there again!

Location, location, location!

If we had been any closer to the water, our feet would have been wet. Fantastic location, not just for its location right on the beach, but also for its convenience to all of the nightlife, shops, restaurants, and attractions in Wrightsville Beach. The house is older than the newer ones around it, but it did NOT lack for amenities, cleanliness, or comfort. Will definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fun location, close to shops, restaurants & beach! Unfortunately smaller than we wanted but due to our previous rental being unavailable due to hurricane damage this cottage was our next best choice.

Classic Wrightsville Beach cottage - Oceanfront

This historic cottage is in the best location on the island within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. It feels more private being oceanfront but views are partly obstructed by berm. Full ocean views are from upstairs bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The heat/ac worked well and water pressure good. My complaint is that there are not enough places to sit - recommend a larger dining table on porch and updating living room seating and furniture. The artwork was impressive and we enjoyed being there very much. Would book again in future.

Great Place, Some Improvements in Order

I have a love of old beach houses. This one was absolutely perfect for location and ambiance. It is in need of some minor updates but overall the experience was great. I was happy to see a washer and dryer on site but they are small and pretty old. Some of our clothes came out with "burn" marks. I loved all the rocking chairs on the porch but at least one was coming apart and made it unsafe. The furniture was comfy, but really worn out. All else was really great. Just can't beat the location and the number of rooms and spaces for people to hang out was really really great.

Great location - tired house

Bryant was very helpful, but in the end, this property is really bad. It was dirty (baseboard and other areas with dirt), paint is peeling everywhere, original windows that will not open (or stay open), and just not a very nice property. We were very disappointed, and would not recommend this property at all.

Lovely location; tight fit

I love an old school beach house, especially one on the beach! House had some charm but for our group, it didn’t quite work. Too cold to get much use out of porch so fitting 3 families into 1 living room with 1 couch wasn’t great. Kitchen also cramped and no indoor dining space. Deck is a bit crumbly and ready to give you some splinters. Didn’t like renting through Vrbo but getting passed to a rental company and having to fill out more contracts.

Deceptive

charged for a pet. No pet was there. Charged for damage fee. Nothing was damaged. Charged for parking passes and was not told specifically to return them at a cost of $300/pass. all in all, very unsatisfactory.
