  • Kom tot rust! Geniet van uw vakantie en ervaar Wrightsville Beach zoals het vroeger was in dit traditionele huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Dit charmante huisje heeft een gloednieuwe overdekte veranda met veel rockers om te zitten, te ontspannen en te genieten van het uitzicht op het water van het geluid. Dit jaar heeft de eigenaar een nieuwe grote tv in de woonkamer toegevoegd plus Wi-Fi, nieuwe tapijten overal samen met een nieuwe buitendouche.

    De handige plattegrond op één niveau is perfect voor kleine gezinnen - dit huisje is ingericht met een mix van oud en nieuw, wat een gezellige charme toevoegt. De grote keuken is licht en luchtig, samen met een grote serre aan de achterkant van het huis dat een toevluchtsoord is voor stille tijd na een dag op het strand of een geweldige plek voor kunstprojecten en spelletjes voor kinderen. Er is een handige buitenruimte onder het huis met tafel en grill - een geweldige plek om die kaasburger in het paradijs te koken!

    Gelegen op één huis terug van geluid, het is een korte wandeling naar de oceaan evenals Wrightsville Beach Downtown met zijn winkels, restaurants en supermarkt. Er is voldoende opbergruimte onder het huis voor strandspullen en fietsen.

    Buitendouche. Off-straat parkeren voor 4 auto's. Bezetting: 6. Niet roken. Diervriendelijk (klein huisdier) met aanbetaling.

    ** Met ingang van 2 januari 2019 zullen alle vakantiewoningen van 5-21 nachten voor deze woning inclusief beddengoed zijn. Op 4 nachten of minder heeft u nog steeds de mogelijkheid om beddengoed te huren of zelf mee te brengen; bedlinnen en bedmakerijen kunnen worden toegevoegd aan uw reservering tegen de kosten per huurcontract. **

    *** De bouw is begonnen aan een naburig verblijf. Het werkschema is meestal van maandag tot en met vrijdag en kan van invloed zijn op het geluidsniveau in de omgeving in die tijd. Wrightsville Beach-verordening verbiedt werken die beginnen vóór 8 uur 's ochtends, hoewel het personeel eerder kan aankomen om klaar te zijn om te beginnen om 8 uur.

Great location in the center of the island. Short walk to the beach even shorter walk to the sound. We love floating in inner tubes on the sound at high tide. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.

Short concert getaway

We intended on a beach weekend with friends planned around a concert in the area. As it was, our stay was cut short by work, our friends couldn’t come and it rained - but the property was amazing and a short walk to the beach. We wished we had a longer stay and proper beach weekend to enjoy it! Would highly recommend this spot, and hope to return in the future.

Amazing and relaxing!

We had the best time at this beach house! We gathered for a friends 30th birthday celebration and wanted to be in Wrightsville since all of our activities were there. This house was in the perfect location and peaceful on the sound side. Such beautiful sunsets from the porch! We loved our stay so much we hope to come back! Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Incredible. They rent this as a beach bungalow. And there is not a single window in the place that you can open. I would avoid this place. Totally wrong that they don’t communicate this up front. And it’s dangerous

Great location and view

We loved our week in the Fisher Cottage. The property is walking distance to the little downtown, the beach and the inner waterway is just few steps away with the view of the sunset from the porch. The covered porch was our favorite spot. Perfectly quiet. Just far enough from the Pier and the downtown but close enough to walk there and walk back with a bag from the convenient store/groceries. The Fisher cottage is clean and comfortable and has a sweet homey feel. Our family of 4 plus the grandparents had enough room to read, nap and play games. Kitchen has space and everything you might need. 4 stars bc it needs a makeover/ light remodel. The windows do not open.

Cozy charming cottage

We just returned from our 5 night stay at Fisher Cottage and we had an awesome stay! There were some things about it I didn’t LOVE but overall it was great! The location was amazing! It took 5 minutes to walk to the beach! The view of the bay was beautiful and we literally sat on the porch the entire time. The outside shower was nice and we all used it. The interior was adorable but the only thing we didn’t like was the location of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Too close for comfort for my taste but it worked out just fine. I think there are too many area rugs. I know that sounds strange but a few of us tripped on the lips of the area rugs. We had to put a chair over it because it kept curling up. The doorknob on the storm door kept falling off and if the door shut it locked. Luckily the back door was un locked. Overall it’s great and I’d honestly stay there again! It gave us the overall island vibe that we were looking for!

Funky Fabulous Rental

My husband and I loved the location. I have some ambulatory issues so the proximity to the waterway and beach were ideal. The new deck on the home was amazing, we made great use of the rocking chairs and hammock. The interior is eclectic, but it felt homey and we found everything we needed to cook etc. Some beach chairs would be nice, otherwise no complaints.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the visit was relaxing. Noticed that there were no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors at all in the house. Reported this to the associate at the realty office.House was very clean. Location was great.Most disappointing item was Bryant Reality's policy for cancellation. Not fair to the tenant to lose deposit if the unit doesn't get rented after one cancels. Probably will not use Bryant again for this reason. We were insulted on such a rule.

Reviewer Comments: This could be a great place but a few issues hampered our enjoyment: terrible mosquitoes outside under the house and especially in the outdoor shower, not being able to shower in one of the bathrooms and not having a working light in the bathroom with a functioning shower. In addition, the handle repeated fell off the front door and having a front door that locks every time it’s closed is a pain when you gave children running about. We appreciated the view and location, space available and well stocked kitchen.

It's perfectly located close to the beach, to sunset views on the Banks Channel, to restaurants, and to getting on or off the island easily. The layout is simple and provides plenty of living and sleeping space as well as bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped. The highlight for us was definitely the large covered porch, where we spent a majority of our time. Only one note - the "pet friendly" description should say "dog friendly".

Reviewer Comments: The Fisher cottage reminds me of going to a beach house way back several decades before they got so fancy....but it is very well equipped. Reasonably clean, plenty of space for 6 and generally comfortable. The mattresses were firm. The kitchen was good and they actually had some spices and had left some trash bags out. Nice outdoor shower. The gem is the porch. Great outdoor space with sound views and pretty sunset. The neighbors bushes could be trimmed for better viewing but that’s out of the Fisher’s control. The quirkiness was with the 2 placement of the bathrooms but it was tolerable for the price of the rental. I would guess this home was built in the late 40s but has been updated. It was fun seeing the family pictures since my family had a beach house from 1971-2014 in NJ. One easy fix would be better seating in living room. They should buy a sectional and get rid of the current situation.

If we were home, we were on the porch! House was very clean, kitchen was well stocked - could have used a bigger fridge though, seems like it is on its last leg with the door shelf arms either broken or missing. We made it work with all the coolers we brought. Will definitely rent again!

The house is no frills, but has everything you need and makes for a perfect beach rental. The majority of your time will be spent on the large deck staring at the waterway. The location is perfect! Fisher Cottage of one of our favorites- can't wait to come back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My daughter and grandson stayed at this home with 2 mid-size dogs. They loved the home and it accommodated them nicely. It was about 5 blocks from where we were staying. When we opened the home, there were no noticeable signs of pets being in the home. It was very cute! Nicely decorated and well taken care of. We visited a few times and had dinner there one evening. Well appointed and everything was clean. During Christmas week it is difficult to get assistance from real estate company. The light over the dining room table dis not work - likely a bulb but not sure because it was an older lamp. No bulbs could be found - yes, we could have driven to store to buy a bulb, but because it was an "older" style lamp, we were afraid of breaking the glass. The TVs were difficult to operate - no instructions. Everyone's cable company works differently. Lastly, no trash can could be found...and could not reach anyone from Bryant until Thursday after Christmas. Matt came by and instructed us to leave trash under porch.
