'This is a lodging experience like no other. Located a 10 minute walk from the town of Ollantaytambo, it’s nestled in a eucalyptus forest alongside the roaring Urubamba River. Very secure, behind stone walls, locked gates and with the adorable, loyal “guard dog” Beethoven . we stayed in the glass pyramid (watch your head climbing in) and kept pinching ourselves in disbelief of where we were! 'I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay after trekking or touring the Maras salt mines, the Sacred Valley, or Machu Picchu. We stayed here after our four-day trek on the Inca Trail. 'I booked and had a confirmation number. Drove for hours to get there. The road was blocked so we eight had to turn around and try another way. When the host EVENTUALLY answered, he said he had no booking! He said Expedia never communicated with him. We had to go from door to door to find somewhere that could take 8 people. Had to use one hotel for half the time and another for the rest of the time. '

'Booked the house for 3 weeks. Arrived in Perou with my 3 kids, the house was not available due to renovation. No one to answer phone and mail. In front of the house in Perou I had to rebook everything during my vacation. Took me time and much more expensive that I have planned. '
