'Small and quiet motel on the lake. No staff present on checkin, but easy to do over the phone. Rooms are clean with recent flooring. Small flat screen TV on the wall. Staff was friendly when I met them. And easy to communicate with. Bbq on site to use as well.'

'My wife and I are travelling around our own backyard this year.( Atlantic Canada). We recently stayed at the Ye Olde Argyler Lodge, and fell in love with all that it offered Clean well kept rooms, excellent breakfast, knowledgeable and courteous staff, and an ocean view that is spectacular to say the least. 'This was my third time in three years staying here. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and courteous. Although the breakfast is not a full breakfast with bacon and eggs, it has a good selection of oatmeal, pastries, yogourt, fruit, hardboiled eggs and slices meats. And cereal and toast and bagels. If I return to the area next summer, I will consider this at the top of the list.'

'There is a strong chemical smell constantly, maybe from the parking lot construction, but it was very unpleasant and even in our room. We asked for an extra blanket and were told there weren’t any left. The ac was awful.. if it was on it would kick on and off all night super loud and wake us up but if it was off it was uncomfortably warm. The breakfast was great and people working there were great. If you’re sensory sensitive like us with sound and smell this is not the place for you.'

'The hotel and staff were wonderful. But I loved the location. A few steeps from the working water front of Yarmouth. I enjoyed walking and found a seafood restaurant right on the docks. I watched the CAT ferry arrive and was able to take some great photos of it turning around. Highly Recomend'
