I would only reccommend this hotel if: see below
- The staff was overall very nice and helpful. If you needed something, they would fix it right away. - There was only one problem though, which made me skip my breakfast one day. Breakfast was every day between 7:30 and 10:30 AM. Sometimes I entered the restaurant at 09:45, sometimes at 10:00. But every day I had to hear the same commentary from 1 woman in the kitchen. She asked me litteraly every day: is the rest of your family coming? It's about time, we close at 10:30 AM. And if it was 10:15 she would ask us to finish the meal and ''chit chat' later. It was quiet disturbing, so one day I went outside to have breakfast and enjoy the coffee afterwards without hesitation. One of our family members filed a complaint, after that she stopped saying it. - We had a nice view on mountain Ararat, but room was a little too small for 4 people with 4 luggages. - I don't understand how everyone says the breakfast is perfect, it was just OK. - Bed and sheets were very comfortable! - Cleaning ladies very nice!

Everything about Kantar was incredible! We initially were booked with a terrible hotel in a bad location through our tour agency and then thankfully we found Kantar. Seriously from the people, the space, cleanliness, the breakfast, the location, everything was perfect. Affordable and you get your money's worth for how good it is. Don't consider booking anywhere else!!!

Great for a citybreak with friends
Great pre-stay communications to arrange our airport transfer. Everything was easy and smooth with all the staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was super clean and spacious. Breakfast was a good selection and freshly cooked. Felt very safe in the locality too. Could not really have expected any more and would definitely recommend.

As the flights were arriving and departing at times in the middle of the night, it was important to have the use of the quiet common room. This proved really useful when leaving for the airport at midnight and arriving at 0800 in the morning. The staff were fantastic. The hotel is located on the top floors of residential property. The room is not big I paid for breakfast but was supposed to leave before breakfast hours and got " lunch box" instead. But that lunch includes 2 pieces of bread and 2 slices of chess and salami It is not a real breakfast Overal the hotel has perfect location and good enough for budget stays

Certainly not five star but good value
Quirky place! Essentially it's a hostel, but some of the rooms are amazing. I had a 50 square meter apartment for about 75 Euro per night. And an amazing view of Ararat when the cloud lifted. The breakfast is okay, a little boring, but fresh. And the staff in the front office at night time so friendly, but not so much in the kitchen in the mornings. However I made the mistake of speaking Russian and once I had spoke a few words of Armenian and English of the staff were a little kinder and friendlier. All in all of this place is great value but don't expect five-star comfort. Oh also the location is pretty good, but the main restaurant / bar area is good 20 minutes walk away but there are options within 5 minutes.

I found it is a hostel not a hotel. The major part is hostel and very crowded. A few rooms available like hotel rooms. The building and amenities are outdated. The price is way higher than the value.

The Space!
It was a family reunion and we had a two-bedroom apartment, which was amazing for our needs. It has a massive living area with open plan kitchen, dining area with big table and living space with sofas and plenty of space for kids to run around. Each bedroom is a very good size, each with en-suit + separate toilet off the main corridor, so no fighting for it :) we used the washing machine couple of times too, which was perfect as travelling with small kids. We generally had most of the things in the appartment, and if we needed anything we could ask reception for it (for example and additional frying pan). The appartment is central and easy walking distance to many attractions. It might not be the most amazing building from outside, and the views were only of the buildings across the road, but certainly was it cosy, very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again should we visit Yerevan! Very polite and helpful staff too.

Forholdsvis sentralt hotell med sikkerhetsvakt og greie rom med balkong. Likte godt romløsningen, flott bad og fin seng. Renholdet fungerer godt. Frokosten er helt okay. Jeg hadde balkonger rett over balkongene som brukes av andre gjester så ga noe ekstra lyd naturlig nok. Jeg finner det derimot spesielt at jeg på 43 år, skal nektes å bringe en venn til hotellrommet, og at resepsjonisten skal fortelle at ingen for komme på rommet utenom betale gjester, men vi kunne få fem minutter! Frekt. Hvor står en slik regel? Uhøffelig synes jeg å bli snakket til som jeg var en tennåring. Er stort sett russiske gjester der nå, som vel skyldes de ikke har så mange andre land som tar dem imot på grunn av krigen.

Great location, nice hotel, very clean. We booked the 2-bedroom apartment and it was huge. It has 3 toilets and 2 showers and can fit up to 8 people. Breakfast is great too but it starts at 8am. They could start earlier as many people leave eraly for tours, work, etc

We got the aparments. It was even better than pictured and had all the amenities in the room to live. The breakfast was more than expected with big variety of tasty food and friendly cook. We loved everything about this place and would definitely come back.

Kantar is located within a close proximity to Republic Square. Very good hotel for a reasonable price. Very clean. Stuff is very professional and try to meet all your needs. Breakfast is very good with wide variety to choose from. I would definitely stay at Kantar again.

My name is Armen. The last time I stayed at this property was back in 2015. I was impressed at that time and I'm impressed now. I have the means and ability to go to much nicer and luxurious hotels, but this was the best value for me and my family. The biggest difference was the staff. After a brief breaking of the ice, they became like family members to me. The care and support we got from them was unmatched. I have been to over 20 other countries, and I'm comparing the service to the services of those hotels. Starting with Onik, Tamar, Haik, Nina, Parour, the entire wonderful / amazing kitchen staff. There are a few other names that I'm forgetting. I want to send my regards to them and to the management team for selecting such great talent / personnel. I do have an email correspondence with the owner (Armen) from 5 years ago, I asked if I can invest or purchase one of the units there. If the owner is still Armen, I wanted to say hello and congratulate you for significantly improving the hotel accommodations and making my 2 week trip with my family full of good memories. We will be back (to Kantar).

This is such a cozy place in the heart of Yerevan. I LOVED their breakfasts and was looking forward to them every day. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was simple but had everything one could possibly need for a week. I honestly was pleasantly surprised with this place and will choose it again for my next stay.
