Perfect spot for a team trip!
Perfect for my sons HS golf team pre-season trip. Plenty of room and space for 8 teenage boys and 4 chaperones. Super close to 4 great courses. Everything was sparkling clean and the kitchen is well appointed. Can’t beat the location either. Thanks again Bill, we will be back for sure!

Great Group Getaway

We appreciated the location greatly - short walk to the beach and the establishments on long sands ave. Some of us had wifi connection issues and for others it worked just fine. Super helpful to have so much parking available!

Vacation in York
We loved the covered deck with the blue furniture, the 8 bedrooms, and the kitchen. It would have been nice to have more living space and a fire pit with chairs. The kids enjoyed the beach, but it was not an easy access for me at 88, so I never went down...sad about that. Bill was very nice about handling the few problems in the kitchen.

Family Trip
Great place for our family trip to Long Sands. 3 stories with views and excellent accommodations. Plenty of room for people to be together or seek privacy. A short walking distance to the beach with your coffee. Plenty of parking. everything worked as advertised. We planned this trip knowing we would probably not all return again and we had a great time and this place made it possible.

Wonderful spot for a reunion
18 of us - friends for about 30+ years - the perfect spot to just hang out. We cooked meals in the spacious kitchen-dining area. Plenty of beds for all! It was lovely - the host was super responsive when questions came up!

Great house
The house was just as described. A great place for our extended family group. We could all be together in the open concept living area and could eat together. The kitchen was well equipped. Bill was very responsive to a small issue with the grill and took care of it right away.

Great house and location!
My family and I came to York to celebrate my brothers birthday. The house was awesome, plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. Nice and clean and lots of places to hang out throughout the house, two balconies were awesome. Perfect location and a short walk to the beach! Bill was very responsive and very accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent. Awesome place to stay with extended family. Easy walk to beach and views are amazing. We went with three families, and each family had their own floor, plus kitchen was huge. It was a short drive to other York attractions. Highly recommend and we will come back.

Our son was getting married, and all of our family lived outside of Maine. We decided that rather that have everyone in different hotel rooms that we could get a house so that we could spend more time visiting with out-of-town family members. Mini Family Reunion
Our family began the search for a location to have a mini family reunion by visiting multiple sites. Our plan was to find a beach house that could accommodate 16-20 people comfortably to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. Luckily, we found this fantastic house in York, ME that met our wish list – close to the beach, easy access with plenty of parking, lots of bedrooms and enough space to gather together for meals and games. Our group consisted of 4 families with teenagers, young adults, parents and a grandparent. Upon arrival, we found plenty of open areas to spread out without constantly bumping into one another. The kitchen had basic cooking supplies like pots, pans, bowls and utensils for a crowd. The cupboards were well-stocked with dishes, glasses and mugs. The large island provided a convenient spot to spread out food for our meals buffet style where everyone could help themselves. There was plenty of seating at the dining table, the pub style table and island. The bedrooms were divided up between families with good floor space for bags in each room. This 3-story house also had plenty of room for anyone looking for quiet downtime. With typical December weather, much of our time was spent indoors playing games, working on a Christmas puzzle and enjoying each other’s company. What a wonderful getaway for all of us! Thanks!!!

Maine Summer Family Vacation
The house was exactly as described. Walking distance to the beach, short drive to the lighthouse and the village. Great view of the ocean and Nubble Lighthouse from the balconies. We had a large group with plenty of room to spread out in the house and be comfortable.

Amazing property and location!
We had the best vacation at York beach, everyone absolutely loved the stay at this property! Even though the weather wasn’t great and it rained a few days of our trip and we were stuck in the house, we couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay. Our group consisted of 16 people ranging in ages 1 to 85. Everyone had their own space and it never felt crowded at all! This house was absolutely gorgeous inside and out! The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed for cooking for a crowd. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and having three bathrooms was perfect. The two porches were awesome and the view from the top deck was breathtaking! You could see all the way to Nubble light! There was also parking for 7 cars easily which was perfect as one member of our group had to commute to work during the trip. Bill was an amazing host and was very responsive to anything we needed. The beach on long sands was beautiful and just a very short walk away. It wasn’t too crowded at the end of beach which was perfect to have room to spread out. The kids had a blast building sandcastles and boogie boarding! There was everything within a short walking distance including restaurants and a small convenience store. The downtown York area was just a short drive away with plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from, we had a lot of fun shopping, eating and playing in the arcade. We also visited York’s Wild Kingdom and the kids loved it! We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. After spending the week here, I can safely say that everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to go back next year! If you are looking for the perfect beach vacation for a large group, this is the place for you!

Absolutely perfect rental house! We had 15 adults and the house never felt crowded. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was strong, and it is a block from the beach! Can't beat it. We look forward to booking this house again!

The picture from the upstairs balcony needs to be updated because there is a house built on that empty property but you can still see the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and we were able to travel to many different spots in New Hampshire and Maine from this great location. Thanks for a great vacation - lots of memories were made!

Everything about this house was amazing. We had a big group of people (many couples), and there was enough beds and rooms in the house to fit every single person and still had space left. The house is completely updated, and it is right next to the beach. There is so much outside space: third floor deck with beautiful views, second floor deck then the bottom floor back yard and grill. On top of the space, Bill was the best host I’ve rented with: he responded to messages quickly, was very flexible and understanding, and made the process leading up to and during the stay so easy. I would love to come here every year!

We had a wonderful time in this house. It was perfect for getting our whole family together to celebrate my mother-in-law's 70th. We had a little issue with the AC when we first got there but Bill was quick to respond as he had been throughout the whole process. Location, view, lots of room!!
This property and owner came to our rescue as we had to leave a previous VRBO rental that was misrepresented and in disrepair. The owner promptly responded to our inquiries and quickly set into motion his cleaning crew. We were able to arrive and restart our vacation within a few hours of rental! The home is lovely, spacious and set up perfectly for many families! We had plenty of room for the 11 of us and each of the children were beyond thrilled to have their own bedroom with comfortable queen beds!! The house was well equipped with everything needed for the beach including chairs, toys and even a cooler! We were also so happy to find the enormous kitchen and that it had everything necessary for steaming our own lobsters. We did that 2x in the 4 nights we stayed! Later we played card games and poker at the large dining table. We also enjoyed the stash of board games and a puzzle became a family challenge! Everyone added to it but a few of us spent a lot more time on it than others! Hopefully the cleaning crew wasn’t upset to find it on the coffee table, we were too proud to break it down:) Thank you Bill for giving us the opportunity to create lasting memories in your wonderful home!! We will look you up if we decide to return to York!

Family Reunion
We get together with our 6 kids and their wives (only 5 could make it this year) and our grandchildren every 2 years. We found this 8 bedroom 3 full bath home and it worked out perfect. 2 blocks from Long Sands Beach (which the kiddos loved). The owner provided beach chairs, towels and beach toys. That came in super handy since everyone flew in from all over the country. I would recommend this facility. We had a great reunion and check in/check out was super easy. Main floor open concept worked out great. More grass for kids to play would have been perfect but completely understand for maintenance reasons it would be difficult. Fun vacation!
