Great family getaway.
My spouse and 7 adult family members comfortably stayed in this house without feeling on top of each other. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shops, restaurants in York but also incredible views right from the deck. We could not have picked a better house for our family.

Great family weekend away!
Our family of 9 adults enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in York. The house perfectly accommodated all of us. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything we needed was easily assessable. The location is perfect - right on the beach! And restaurants and shopping are minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent Beach House
This was a beautiful, tidy, spacious beach house with amazing views of Short Sands beach. We loved the house and it was perfect for our extended family. The little kids (5&6) loved the toys and the adults loved the puzzles. The Kitchen had many amenities and was a pleasure to cook in. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and we'd love to come back some day.

Family reunion in the off season!
We had an incredible stay at this VRBO! The house is not only beautifully renovated and spacious, offering the perfect blend of communal areas and private retreats, but it's also located just across from Short Sands Beach, providing breathtaking ocean views from nearly every window. The responsiveness of the hosts added to our seamless experience. The game room in the garage was a delightful bonus that everyone enjoyed. This home is an ideal choice for a family reunion, especially in the off-season. Highly recommend for a memorable family getaway

Location can’t be beat
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, which is basically right on Short Sands Beach. We had everything we needed, and the house was clean and cozy. We had plenty of space, and everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom. We loved being directly across from the water, and you can see the ocean from most rooms in the house, which was amazing. Our kids also loved the game room! We hope to return to enjoy some sunshine in the summer months! Thank you!

Gorgeous beachfront house
We’ve stayed as a family at a number of VRBO properties and this one ranks at the top for sure. There was so much room to spread out, the home is well-maintained and the location is perfect right at the beach. The game room was a lot of fun and a nice perk! The owners were super responsive to questions and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great house, great location for family fun
We stayed this week with our 4 kids and dog and it’s a terrific house in a great location. Plenty of bedrooms, nice open living space, and the game room is terrific for when there’s some down time etc. It was also so nice to be able to bring our dog. We’ve been visiting the area and renting houses forever and this is a top pick for sure!

Happy Hearts
This property was beyond perfect for our family stay in York! The floor layout allowed everyone (10 people) to have plenty of space! The view of the ocean was incredible, and we enjoyed being just steps away from it! We kept busy playing in the ocean, relaxing on the deck, playing ping pong, walking to Fun O Rama and bowling! So many amazing memories made...left with Happy Hearts! Hoping to return next year for a second stay!

York Beach Paradise
We are a multi-generation family that gathered from Ohio and New York to stay in this fantastic (site unseen) home. We found the setting perfect for children, dogs and the adults who love them. The house is awesome --immaculate and uncluttered enabling us to kick back without worrying about fussy furnishings and knick-knacks. Our group size necessitated lots of cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Every need is anticipated. There is even a crock pot! We appreciated the lovely owners. They were laid back yet quick to respond to questions and needs. Thanks much. We'll definitely return to this awesome home.

Great Vacation Spot!
This is the second year my family has rented this property and we have enjoyed both our stays very much! The new renovations are beautiful and there’s lots of space for all. Although we were sad to see the enclosed wrap-around porch removed, we enjoyed sitting outside on the new deck and loved the open-concept layout of the downstairs. The ocean views from the house are gorgeous and the sounds of the waves are so relaxing! The location is ideal for beach outings at Short Sands and is only a few minute walk from downtown. The owners, Steve and Desni, are flexible and responsive. Both stays, they kindly extended our check-out by an hour, as we have an elderly family member (92 yrs old) who requires a bit more time to get up and ready. They communicate all instructions clearly and respond to all inquiries quickly. We look forward to renting this property again!

Perfect!
Such a great house, location and host! The house was clean, completely stocked (even 2 coffee pots) and had a nice floor plan. The front porch area is where we spent most of our time, but the game room was awesome too. Being so close to the beach meant never needing the car at all. We walked to morning coffee, shopping and dinner. Can’t wait to see the renovations next year. Thank you, Steve!

This property and Steve are beyond compare! Everything you can hope for in a vacation rental- super clean, very responsive to questions, and attentive to all needs. The view and the convenience of this location are exceptional. Was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation- loved by everyone from my 5 year old to my 86 year old father in law. Family Gathering
The location of Steve's house is ideal, since you can access the beach right across the street and walk to a wonderful playground and town so easily. The kitchen is a bit awkward for many people to cook in, but the wrap around porch is wonderful for eating, and relaxing. The layout of the house doesn't provide much of a sitting area for bad weather for the number of bedrooms, but we had great weather so it wasn't a problem. The house manual needs to be updated for wifi access and clearer instructions about garage game room etc. but we were there at a transition time and after the first night of confusion, all was well handled. I'm assuming that other guests won't have any of these issues.

A true beach house and a perfect location
After a difficult year and losing our best friends, we rented this house due to its location and the fact that the place was not the standard overpriced show house that seems to be more of the norm on every coast these days. That said, it was quite special in every way that matters. Clean, well maintained and exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of room to 'get away' if looking for a private spot, or gather for dinner, games, or simply to look out at the gorgeous view. A bonus was watching the sun rise (approx 5:02 in June) from the porch with coffee. The new rec room was incredibly fun and a great place to spend time when the weather wasn't stellar or after dinner. We loved doing puzzles on the porch and relaxing watching movies in the family room. The bonus of being dog-friendly allowed family members with a dog to visit. Sadly, the quirky perks of the house will be a thing of the past after this season. Renovations are planned and we are thankful we got to enjoy this place as it is. Though it will never want for renters with its location, we felt very relaxed and didn't want for anything during our time there. Loved our stay!

Location was the best
It would be seriously difficult to beat the location of this property. You have unobstructed ocean views it’s literally a 10 second walk across the street to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the stores and restaurants. The house was very dog friendly with great walking paths but tucked away just nice enough where you had privacy. The house was very clean and well stocked unlike most places we’ve stayed. My only piece of advice moving forward is on cold or stormy days more seating in the living room would have been perfect for a family movie night.

Wonderful Getaway
We stayed at this lovely house during April school vacation with our two children and it was perfect! The location is amazing with gorgeous views and plenty for our young kids to do even in the springtime. We hiked some trails nearby, played at the beach and playground, went for walks....this location was just incredible!

Our family enjoyed our stay at your house! We had 5 people and easily could have accommodated more. The view was beautiful! The beds and linens were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. We really enjoyed being so close to both beaches, town and the light house. My only recommendation is having more comfortable seating on the porch, including a good size table because we never wanted to leave the porch with the great view! We hope to be back soon.

Perfect getaway right on the beach
The house is right across from Short Sands beach and Ellis park where you can find a nice playground. You can walk to the shops and restaurants, and in the summer go play at Fun O Rama. The ocean views cannot be beat and when it is storming watching the waves crash on the rocks and beach are spectacular. Any one traveling with pets I recommend bringing rubber backed rugs which I always do so the dogs don't slip on the floors. Steve, the Host is amazing and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

Better than we could have ever expected
We rented this dog friendly property in February. According to the pictures it had easy access to the beach, just a few stairs to enter the property and a nice kitchen. When we arrived we found the easy access to the beach but we also found a large a spacious mudroom to remove boots and jackets and prepare dogs for going out. We also found a very well equipped kitchen, handy laundry and full bath on the first floor. The very best part that we didn't know is that there is a spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen bed on the first floor that is just off a large and modern porch that had a small table for dining or playing games and a little sofa to drink morning coffee while watching the waves and people playing with their dogs on the beach. There is a whole upstairs too with a large full bath and several welcoming rooms. This is the idea place for a muli-generational get together with the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor for those that have difficulty with stairs at well as a room with bunk beds for the younger folks. The owner was also very responsive when I didn't understand how to open the door with the combination. He was also in touch with me the few days leading up to the day of arrival to be sure I was in the know about check in process. Excellent trip and experience. Thank you, Steve
