  • Deze charmante rustieke hut is perfect voor uw familie wegkomen! Dit huis ligt in het kleine historische stadje Wawona, direct aan de rivier de Merced. Maak een korte wandeling en ga vissen of koel af op een warme zomerdag. Dit huis heeft 2 slaapkamers, de eerste met een queensize bed, de tweede met een queensize bed en twee eenpersoonsbedden. Er is een badkamer met douche. De volledig uitgeruste keuken heeft alles wat u nodig hebt om een gezinsmaaltijd te bereiden. Sorry geen vaatwasser op dit moment, maar het komt binnenkort! Ontspan op het grote dek en BBQ op de propaangrill. Of gewoon zitten, ontspannen en luisteren naar de rivier brullen door. Er is een tv met Netflix voor leuke familiefilmavonden. Er is een open haard met hout die alleen tijdens de wintermaanden wordt gebruikt.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. All communication was indirect and electronic. Yosemite Valley was 35 miles away, good location. We enjoyed the fireplace and the setting overlooking the river. Cabin had a nice porch area. Safe area.

Beautiful Property

Delighted to be at the end of the road and have a waterfront view. Quaint and clean. Enjoyed our stay being located in Yosemite National Park.

Perfect home base for Yosemite!

Along The River was the perfect home base for our family trip to Yosemite. The cabin sits at the end of a quiet street and the back deck offers pretty views of the river. There is a little beach area for kids to play. The cabin itself is nicely decorated, updated and immaculate. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The cabin is 30 minutes to Tunnel View and 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley. One tip for travelers - make sure you bring your own shampoo, soap, etc. I hope we can stay here again!

Horrible service. I suppose to check in at 4pand I did not get the code access until 8pm!

The only problem I had was that I called to ask for the code to get into the house and no one knew it.

Late September Wawona and Yosemite Trip

Exactly as described! A cozy adorable cabin in the woods on the river about a 45 minute drive to Yosemite valley. It was absolutely perfect for my husband and I with a nicely equipped and updated kitchen. The bathroom is very nicely updated as well. It's not spacious--which one should expect from a cabin in the woods-but it was spotlessly clean with gorgeous decor, perfect water pressure and temp as well as plenty of towels and washcloths. I have NO idea why one reviewer commented on toilet paper and soap--we had more than adequate supplies of anything we might have needed. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the built in dressers. The deck was huge! It made for a wonderful place to have morning coffee/evening wine and enjoy the jaw dropping, beautiful natural surroundings. We never heard noise from neighbors or had any difficulty whatsoever. It is in the park, so I recommend you plan your meals and all food prior to entering. There is a small market in the neighborhood, but as you would expect from this type of setting, it's inventory is limited as are the hours of operation. We picked up a few items we forgot but you can't count on it for complete meal supplies. Property managers were very responsive and helpful. There is a phone in the cabin which connects you to a real person should you have an emergency, etc. We'd LOVE to go back!

Wonderful location

So close to the river, we slept with the windows open and fell asleep to the sound of the rushing water, it was gorgeous.

Lovely cabin in ideal location

Property management failed to provide a few of the listed amenities (bring your own toilet paper and hand soap) otherwise everything was fabulous.

Trip to Yosemite for our 30 anniversary

We didn’t realize that there were cabins back in this area. Very peaceful, not much water in the river because of the drought, but the view was still very nice

Lovely Oasis

My family stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights. This is a lovely cabin, plenty of space for us 4, very clean, well stocked with all the basic pots, pans, and cooking equipment. The WiFi was also really strong, and we were able to use Netflix for a little downtime in the afternoon. We used the grill and ate on the deck both evenings. Such a great, relaxing time. Very close to Mariposa Grove, which was convenient for our hiking plans. But the best part was the access to the Wawona river - such a peaceful spot. I could sit and watch the water go by for hours. This place is a GEM!

Along the River Stay

Wonderful location right by the river! Beautiful deck and bbq to use, or stay inside by the fireplace. There is a small TV with Netflix available. There are some games available in case you forgot to bring any. Small yet functional kitchen with lots of pots, pans, plates, etc, available. The bathroom is a decent size, has good pressure and hot water for a nice shower after hiking all day. My only complaint is the queen size bed is hard. I recommend bringing a thick foam mattress pad. I did not try the double or twin bed. We would definitely stay here again!
