Naast de prachtige uitstraling, is dit huis ontworpen om uw verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken, inclusief handige parkeergelegenheid en toegang. Het huis is een zeldzaam huis met één verdieping dat geschikt is voor gasten van alle leeftijden. Er zijn ongeveer 10 treden vanaf de parkeerplaats, die naar de ingang leiden. Beide toiletten hebben dubbele wastafels en aparte toilet- en doucheruimtes. De master suite beschikt over een kingsize bed, terwijl de middelste slaapkamer twee stapelbedden met twee aparte bedden heeft, evenals een High Definition-tv voor het geval de kinderen hun eigen ruimte willen hebben om videogames te spelen of te kijken een film. De slaapkamer aan de voorzijde heeft een queensize bed, versierd met vintage decor, terwijl de woonkamer is voorzien van een gewelfd plafond in cottage-stijl plank, rivieropen haard en een 60 "4K-tv, compleet met Blu-Ray-speler en satellietkabel. De noodlijdende eettafel biedt plaats aan 8 personen. De volledig gevulde keuken beschikt over een stijlvolle boerderij wastafel, kwarts aanrecht, roestvrijstalen apparaten en beadboard kasten. Bovendien is er een eettafel op het achterdek als u liever buiten dineert of gewoon wilt genieten van de berglucht en het boszicht. Er is een gas-BBQ als u wilt grillen. De overdekte veranda is voorzien van twee zeer comfortabele schommelstoelen, perfect voor het drinken van uw ochtendkoffie of thee.
Deze woning bevindt zich BINNEN de poorten van Yosemite National Park en is centraal gelegen ten opzichte van veel van de populaire bestemmingen, waaronder Yosemite Valley (20 minuten), het skigebied Badger Pass (15 minuten) en Wawona (20 minuten). Voor grotere groepen (maximaal 20 personen), overweeg om dit huis te huren in combinatie met The River Rock Retreat, dat op slechts een steenworp afstand ligt.
Deze hut heeft 2 parkeerplaatsen tijdens de herfst, winter en lente maanden. In de zomer zijn er 3 parkeerplaatsen.

Wedding in Yosemite

Beautiful, well equipped home in Yosemite West. House is approximately 30 minutes from the valley floor. We stayed here for our daughter’s fall, Yosemite wedding. Spacious kitchen/great room, beds were comfortable with the exception of the bunk beds. They are probably fine for kids, not great for adults. Would definitely recommend!

Cute & Cozy

We loved our stay here! It’s so homey and comfortable! We had a party of 6 adults and there was plenty of room. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Don’t forget your own shampoo and conditioner. I would also bring some extra kitchen towels, just in case. Other than that all the amenities were there. The WiFi didn’t work for us and there was very spotty cell service, so be prepared. Made for a nice tech free weekend! Will be back for sure!

Lovely home conveniently located to Yosemite’s major attractions

We were overall very pleased with this home and had a very good experience dealing with the management group. The house is Very clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked to accommodate most any family meal. A comfortable retreat that serves as a great home base after long days exploring Yosemite’s sites and attractions. The neighborhood is a great location for accessing the Valley and Southern ends of the park. The other reviews regarding the WiFi reliability and speed are accurate. However, Only a minor inconvenience because cell service isn’t available. Also noted that no AC meant the house was fairly hot during the day (July) and took a while to cool down in the evening, but certainly not unbearable. A couple more fans In the house would have helped.

Wonderful stay - and the WiFi works fine!

This property is just as nice as depicted in the photos. A great balance between stylish, casual and comfortable. Great location inside the boundaries of the park. The place was very clean and everything inside is in excellent condition. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils and other stuff you could want - including a griddle for pancakes. And as mentioned in the title, the WiFi worked fine for us even though we didn’t expect that based on the comments from others. We would not change a thing.

Excellent stay, with one exception

Super clean, well layed out, great location. Description of amenities were spot on with the exception of the Wi-Fi. Very minimal to no service in the house. Limited to 500 MB per day. Very frustrating when trying to comfirm travel plans and locations of daily activities. Also, beware that the air condition did not exist. The house was very hot upon arrival.

The home was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Yosemite destinations were close by. The area is very quiet. I would love to stay here again. To future renters who may arrive late at night, make sure to bring the property map as the roads are confusing when you are tired and it is dark outside.

Beautiful Mountain retreat

We stayed at the Craftsman Cottage for a week and loved the house. The house is very clean, bright and well decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We appreciated that the entire house had "hardwood" floors, so there were no dirty carpets (as we've found in other VRBO rentals). The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. We enjoyed the fireplace with the gas starter and the grill on the deck. We appreciated that the house was stocked with a few basic supplies that were enough to last our entire stay: coffee, hot chocolate, TP, Kleenex, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, kitchen bags. One caveat: the drive to the nearest store, gas station, restaurant, Yosemite valley and the nearest town is down a winding (but very scenic) mountain road, so those not familiar with mountain driving will want to be home by dark. The only improvement we would make to the house is covering the exterior windows in the showers with privacy film and putting draperies on the living room windows for privacy. Otherwise, we found the house to be perfect, and the rental company was very helpful, responsive, and easy to deal with.

Clean and beautiful but no air conditioner

Very beautiful house/kitchen with everything you need for cooking. However there is no air conditioner. It is very hot from noon to dawn. Two of us have to sleep in the living room because the room is very hot. The wifi is not working either which is fine with us since we have tried to spend more time enjoying the beauty of the nature. FYI for those people who rely on wifi a lot: we did contact the property manager regarding the wifi and they respond quickly. They came to check the connection quickly for which we appreciate so much but the wifi is still not working the whole stay. They offer the free wifi at their office site but the connection/signal is very weak and unstable.

Beautiful Home In A Quiet Setting

This is a lovely home with all amenities you need for a relaxed stay. The home is one story; however, the entry does have about 12 steps to access the house that could be challenging for anyone with a disability. The rooms were large and the kitchen is well appointed and light and bright. It is close to the attractions in Yosemite Valley (about 15-20 mins). We were there with 5 adults and 2 children under 12. The rooms were ideal for the size of our party and the two bathrooms were very appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful home, stunning views

We absolutely loved our stay at the "Craftsman Cottage" -- while there, you are surrounded by beauty inside and out! The home is light and airy throughout, with terrific natural light as well as a nice selection of ambient and task lighting (I very much dislike spotlights that shine straight down... and many LED/flourecent lights make me crazy!) The great room is beautifully arranged and can accommodate a lot of people -- the living room is cozy with a stone faced fireplace that heats nicely and comfy sofas/chairs/ottoman that work for reading, watching TV or socializing. The kitchen is well appointed with a strong layout and a great-sized island for socializing while preparing meals. The dining room seats 10 comfortably and has a deck with a bbq and backyard views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also light and airy -- the master has sweeping views of the backyard and a door to the deck. One kid room (with two separate bunk beds) is sweetened with a flat screen TV... sort of nice for downtime between snow ball fights, ski days and other jaunts to the valley floor. The 3rd bedroom (with a queen) faces the snowy slope in the front, and would work for a couple or a couple kids. All are spacious, with lovely windows and a cozy feel. Bathrooms are white one white and spotless. Oh, and the front porch was perfect -- alas, it was cold and snowy while we were there, so we didn't use it much. That said, there are only two things that I would NOTE: 1) There is NO WIFI and Mobile Phone coverage was nonexistent as well. If you need to be reached or need to do a little work check in, this is a big deal. The property managers said they have a nearby business office, but that really doesn't help much. It's a big field trip if all you need to do is "check in" with work or family. This seems like a mistake not to have this... being connected is important, but it would also be nice to be able to play music (Pandora app is on the TV, but not usable given no wifi) 2) A very small thing....there are no dressers. I like to unpack when I vacation, but there were no dressers/drawers to unpack into, so I hung all i could and then had to rifle through the suitcase for the rest. Would be nice to have a small chest of drawers in each bedroom or bedroom closet. Other than that, a PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL home. Loved our stay!
