Gesneden plaquettes met gewei uit Oostenrijk sieren de hoge muren en gewei kroonluchters hangen aan de gewelfde plafonds. Nieuw gebouwde, ruime Yosemite Copper Bear Lodge heeft kathedraalachtige ramen voor uitzicht op het bos en verre bergen. De binnenruimte heeft veel comfortabele loungeruimtes in luxe lederen meubels met uitzicht op grote ramen. Kleine berg kreken kabbelen en slingeren langs de buitendekken. Schommelstoelen staan langs het dek om te rusten en te genieten van een serene avond na een lange dag wandelen in het hoogland of ontspannen ronddwalen door de vallei. Het dek heeft ook een BBQ om te genieten van buiten koken. De grote kamer heeft een grote stenen open haard. Een 42-inch flatscreen televisie en blu-ray zijn beschikbaar voor het bekijken van een film. De droomkeuken is volledig uitgerust voor het maken van uw favoriete maaltijden. De eettafel biedt plaats aan ongeveer tien. De open plattegrond en de grote eettafel zijn ideaal om quality time met het gezin door te brengen. Telefoon voor onbeperkt lokaal bellen. Het decor is warm en uitnodigend en stimuleert echt het samenzijn. Het huis is omgeven door kornoeljes, wilde azalea's, esdoorns, grote witte sparren, dennen en ceder. De woning heeft twee queensize bedden, twee aparte bedden en twee stapelbedden (een met onderschuifbed). Er is een pooltafel, mini-arcade, speeltafel en bordspellen op het hok. Het hok heeft lederen stoelen met hoge rugleuning om te lezen. Er zijn wandelpaden in de buurt van het huis om te wandelen. In het geval dat er een stroomstoring is in het park, heeft het huis nu een noodgenerator die automatisch begint te voorzien in stroom voor u en uw gezin. De lodge is perfect gelegen binnen de parkpoorten in een rustige doodlopende straat en weg van de drukte van het park. Vanuit het huis bereikt u de vallei of Glacier Point of Mariposa Grove in ongeveer 25 - 30 minuten. U zult het geweldig vinden om aan het einde van een dag wandelen of andere buitenactiviteiten terug te keren naar deze prachtige accommodatie die is weggestopt in het park. .

Yosemite Family Trip

We had a wonderful time at the Copper Bear Lodge! The house is amazing. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. They had a wonderful gift basket awaiting us too! We loved hanging on the porch and got to see a momma bear and her two cubs in the backyard. The house is centrally located which helped so much with driving inside the park. There’s so much to see and do in Yosemite but we also just loved coming back to the house and playing cards and relaxing. Loved every minute!

Fabulous Family Adventure

My husband and I and our three adult children loved our five-day stay at Copper Bear Lodge. We came to visit Yosemite NP, but we all wished we could have spent several more days at Steve's amazing home. We appreciated the handwritten welcome card, thoughtful gift baskets, and delicious snack basket. Steve is a wonderful host and very responsive, providing detailed suggestions on hikes, trails, waterfalls, and other must-see sights, where to purchase groceries (Oakhurst), and dining options in Yosemite Valley. The home is lovely, with plenty of space to spread out, and every room was spotless. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms well-appointed. The kitchen was spacious and wonderfully stocked. We enjoyed coffee and cooking breakfast each morning, grilled dinners in the evening, and shared daily highlights and photos around the large dining table. We highly recommend Copper Bear Lodge, not only as an ideal and convenient base for exploring Yosemite, but to immerse in the stunning beauty of this special place.

The home is amazing and Steve was an incredibly attentive host. The house has everything you need and more, and is perfectly located to explore Yosemite Valley. Our kids have already asked to come back again!

House is welcoming, well equipped, comfortable and most of all convenient to Yosemite. Great base for exploring Yosemite and comfortable to come home to after long hikes. My two brothers, one older & one younger, our brother in law and I spent five days tackling day hikes all over the park. In all we racked up 35 miles and 8,000 feet of elevation. Not bad for the Medicare Crew!The house was perfect for our needs. So comfortable, so well-appointed. We could not have asked for better accommodations!

The best stay in the park

If you do stay here, you will find that this place is the king of Yosemite West. There's nothing that compares near by. It's quiet, warm, inviting, and they've thought of everything. From boot dryers to an expertly stocked kitchen, this home didn't disappoint at all. It's a great starting point everyday for venturing into the park and a more than comfortable return home at the end of the day. If you're on the fence about whether it's worth it or not, it is, we had an amazing time here.

The house is absolutely spectacular - they've thought of every little detail, down to the delightful gift baskets they left - including a birthday gift for my mom, whose birthday we were celebrating! The location is perfect, and we wished we had more time to just hang out at the house, it was so lovely.

Simply Perfect

The house is immaculately cared for and obviously loved. The kitchen was extraordinarily well stocked with everything you might need. This is the ideal place to relax and socialize. Due to its close proximity to the valley floor we were able to do several early morning hikes and watch the sun come up. Quite simply if you are planning a trip to yosemite this is the perfect place.

Best vacation house we've ever stayed in. The host pays great attention to a lot of details to make the house so inviting and convenient for all ages. Lots of kitchenware's, a variety of bathroom stuff. To name a thing, they have two kinds of chalks you can use for the pool table! Would be willing to return and see bears again in future.

Perfect home base in Yosemite

Copper Bear Lodge is the perfect home base to explore Yosemite. Steve has a gorgeous home, well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. We especially enjoyed using the Blackstone grill and the lovely porch. The kids made good use of the mini arcade, and we saw four bears during our stay!

Peace, Proximity and Comfort

We traveled from Seattle and met some family from Minnesota at this beautiful home. Well appointed and well stocked with everything you might need (and more). Pool table was a hit with the kids (and adults). Communication with property owner was prompt and informative. Home is ~30 minutes to Yosemite Valley, so very convenient yet tranquil, private location. Be mindful of LOTS of stairs to get to front door. Not a problem for our family, but if you have accessibility issues or difficulty with stairs, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, a beautiful, comfortable, and well situated property.

Cozy and Comfortable!!!

We really enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving week. The home was spacious, clean and provided the perfect "cabin" experience at Yosemite. But "cabin" would be understating this unique property. It has all the modern amenities you could ask for...great kitchen and family room, cool game room with arcade and pool table with ample space for everyone to spread out. The location was perfect for us to do our day trips into the Yosemite Valley for dinners, hiking and exploring. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a few thoughtful and awesome care packages with Thanksgiving as the theme. It didn't stop there as there were spa care packages in the bathrooms. The owners really thought of everything! There was an abundance of everything you could ask for and perfectly organized. I would highly recommend this gem of a property for its location and the perfect mountain home experience. Cheers!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful house, tons of space with a big open design great for family gatherings/reunions. Kitchen was immaculately labeled and had everything we needed and more. Spice rack, every pot and pan and piece of plateware imaginable, and generous welcome gifts of snacks of bath products. Whip fast wifi and fun collection of DVDs made our stay modern and nostalgic. Perfect distance from the park, making travel and traffic a breeze (we went in the late October). Host communicated easily and openly, accommodating an earlier check in and even advising tire chains based on the weather forecast-- a proactive tip even though the snow blew over and we didn't need them. Nonetheless, appreciated it. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing, best place to stay in Yosemite

When I first considered booking the Copper Bear, it had nothing but a perfect 5 star rating with tons of reviews which I thought was suspect bc I've never seen that before for any vacation property. After staying there for 6 days, its perfect 5-star rating is well deserved. We've stayed in all kinds of vacation homes and this one is on another level. The house is immaculate and perfect for hanging out as family and friends and also have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is a chef's dream and great for a group or family dinners. Location is great. You're secluded on a cul-a-sac and a quick 25-min drive down to the valley or Glacier Point. On top of the accommodations, the hospitality of the caretaker and owner are as good as it gets. Always responded quickly to answer questions I had before our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone making a trip to Yosemite that they consider this home. It simply doesn't get any better than this.
