Het Hummingbird Pines House is een van de weinige vakantiehuizen in Yosemite West met slechts twee trappen naar het huis, waardoor het ideaal is voor gasten van alle leeftijden. Let op: we kunnen geen rolstoelen of rollators in ons huis hebben omdat deze de vloeren beschadigen. Ons andere huis in Yosemite West is Hummingbird Raven House, lijst # 94764.

Yosemite West ligt in het Yosemite National Park. Het is 25-35 minuten rijden naar de bezienswaardigheden in Yosemite Valley, 30 minuten naar Glacier Point en 30 minuten naar Mariposa Grove en Wawona. Dit is ook de dichtstbijzijnde accommodatie voor het skigebied Badger Pass, met skiën en langlaufen en sneeuwschoenwandelen - slechts acht mijl afstand van uw deur.

Dit Yosemite West huis ligt dicht bij de Glacier Point Road, dus je bent heel dicht bij Taft Point en Glacier Point, het meest spectaculaire uitzicht op Yosemite Valley.

Prijzen zijn $ 375. 00 basisprijs voor maximaal 4 gasten. $ 25. 00 per nacht voor elke extra gast per nacht na de eerste 4 gasten.

Dit huis is geschikt voor maximaal 8-10 personen. We kunnen niet meer dan 10 gasten ontvangen.

INTERNET- EN CELSERVICE: houd er rekening mee dat we geen wifi hebben, omdat bomen rondom het huis satellietontvangst vanuit de zuidelijke hemel blokkeren. Er is ook geen mobiele service in Yosemite West. Mobiele service is onregelmatig in Yosemite Valley. Er is betaalde wifi beschikbaar in Yosemite Valley. Als je tijdens je verblijf wifi nodig hebt, bezoek dan ons huis in Wawona, het Hummingbird Pika House, dat wifi heeft (VRBO 1156877).

Dit is een groot huis (1700 vierkante voet), dus we hebben minimaal 4 gasten ouder dan 3 jaar nodig. Minimaal verblijf van 2 nachten.

Maximaal 2 kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar verblijven gratis, 10% korting op verblijven van een week. (Laat het ons weten als een van uw kinderen tot 3 jaar oud is wanneer u het aanvraagformulier invult.)

Wij accepteren honden geval per geval. We accepteren niet automatisch alle honden. We accepteren alleen honden die niet onbeheerd achterblijven in het huis of op het dek. Er is ook een vergoeding en borg voor huisdieren vereist.

De slaapkamer boven heeft een kingsize bed en bad. Beneden zijn twee extra slaapkamers, elk met een queensize bed. We hebben een bovenverdieping loft met twee eenpersoonsbedden, en een uitklapbare slaapbank in de woonkamer beneden voor 2 personen. Alle bedden zijn voorzien van dekbedden en kussens.

Dit huis is voorzien van een volledige keuken en een grote eettafel. Er is een bbq en eethoek op het dek, wat een prachtige plek is om te genieten van het diner en de zonsondergang te bekijken.

Zoals de meeste huizen in Yosemite West, heeft Hummingbird Pines House geen airconditioning. We hebben individuele kamerfans. Onze locatie is 6000 voet hoog, dus blijft over het algemeen koeler dan Yosemite Valley.

Amazing place

We felt right at home. The location is perfect for visiting Yosemite. The terrace is great and has lots of space. Will stay here for sure again if I ever get back to this beautiful corner of the earth :-)!

The house is dated but clean, with a fantastic location and a beautiful deck overlooking the back of the property. Staying inside Yosemite National Park made it easy to hit the trailheads early each morning. While the home shows its age, it’s cozy and inviting, stocked with games, puzzles, and essentials—perfect for relaxing and unplugging after a long day of hiking, especially with no WiFi to distract you.

Great location

Can’t beat the location, the house is exactly what they say it is. It’s only about 25 minutes to the valley in Yosemite, and 30min to sunsets at Taft or sentinel. The house had linens, pillows, coffee maker(not a Keurig), grill, plenty of kitchen pots/pans, bowls, plates, knives, utensils, washer and dryer (definitely a bonus)and lots of fans located throughout the house. We had a great time! The only problems we had were when we did leave the park and had to come back in at the gate they gave us trouble because our names were not in the CPU. But when we explained the situation and showed receipt with address and location they reluctantly let us back in. Definitely want a copy of the contract with the house address and your name with the dates of stay. The landline phone was a bonus ( told our teenage kids this is what it was like when we grew up). The house did have a couple of tiny issues, upstairs bathroom gfi receptacle did not work(upstairs receptacles all seemed to be worn out), downstairs bedroom light switch cover was cracked, and a couple window screens had holes and 2 downstairs windows had no screens (tough to get a good breeze), but no major issues. Definitely would stay again as a base camp for our trip. Loved the neighborhood, and the drive to Yosemite! Your can’t get a better location, I would rather be here than in the valley. The house was very clean also when we got there. Thank you for letting us stay in you home!

Location in Yosemite was everything!

Staying inside Yosemite park is why this rental is worth it. We did see the line when leaving the park (South) and it was crazy long and probably several hours long. That was probably the biggest reason to go out of our budget for a place like this. That being said this cabin is very accommodating. The master bedroom is spacious anbd cozy and having 3 bedrooms was very helpful. I marveled at the fact that these cabins in Yosemite are built into the mountain side and that felt stunning just driving in on check in day. It definitely could use some updating however it was clean and all our needs were met. We could not get any cell service while here and there was no WiFi so that took some getting used to and caused us to truly be okay with “going off grid.” I didn’t mind it. The setting is lovely and there are plenty of choices of DVDs for the evening if you feel like a movie which we did find 1 we liked. Do plan well with food if you are bringing in because if you forget something it is not easy to just run to the store. All in all I recommend this place because the hosts are great and responsive, check in was easy, it was clean, and you can’t beat the location.

Overall the stay was good. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were great. Unfortunately, we weren’t use to the spiders that randomly showed up. Might be a thing of being in the woods.

We found the place was a great size for all of our family to stay. However, it did feel that the amenities were a bit bare bones and lack luster. The beds and living areas were comfortable and the deck was lovely. The proximity to the park was great, especially since we did not have to wait in line at the gate.

Wonderful winter visit!

We had a wonderful time! We did puzzles on the large dining room table, watched a DVD movie, made great meals in the kitchen. The place was very comfortable and warm (it snowed just before our arrival). There was some rain so we were very appreciative of the covered parking spot. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area.

Yosemite West Property

Our family had an incredible vacation in this property. It was spacious for our family of 4 to spread out. We were there during the heat wave so it was a little warm with only the fans, but it was doable! Great property to get to all locations within the park and we had no trouble finding it with our gps as long as the directions were input prior to entering the park when we had wifi. We stopped at Mar-Val per our contact's feedback to stock up on groceries prior to entering the park, it was a great tip. We picked up some extra ice the next day after hiking one of the trails at a local market near the parking lot. Great location and tons of space!

Over all the stay was very enjoyable. It is a very good place to stay if you are wanting to disconnect from the internet, and cell phone. It was a shock to the two grand kids that are always on their phones. The house could use a few up grades like the stove, and bbq grill. We were a little fearful to use the grill that had a control knob taped off with electrical tape. The deck could use a good pressure wash to get rid of the grease and cob webs that were on the ceiling.

Spring in Yosemite

The location saved us lots of "waiting in line time" by being within the park entry gate. ( It is in a neighborhood, not secluded) The photos of the house living room do not do it justice - it has lots of wood and beautiful vaulted ceilings. However the showers are a blast from the past and their doors need replacing. The carpet, oven, and microwave were the nastiest I have ever seen! It is not housekeeping's fault - they old appliances need to be thrown away! Your mother and VRBO would be ashamed... This home has great potential for a wonderful getaway; it just needs some TLC.

The property is very convenient for a visit to Yosemite and is located inside the park. The location is good with parking for 2 cars and plenty of room for up to 8 people. There is good cooking equipment and lots of room to sit. There is no internet, TV or cell service at the cabin. The carpets are quite stained and generally things are a bit shabby, but generally clean and spacious.

Conveniently Close

Comfortable family home in need of some updating …. old appliances, old kitchen and bathrooms. As we walked around the neighborhood we saw many homes with satellite dishes that had obvious internet connectivity. We understand that is probably expensive, but at the price we paid for only two nights not in season, we feel internet access should have been provided.

Awesome getaway

Enjoyed our stay there! Only gripe is that the property was harder to spot in the night with porch lights off. A reflective sign board by the side of the road would help.
