Beyond the water, there's plenty to keep you occupied. Practice your short game on the 60-yard golf range and putting green, then unwind in the traditional sauna before cooling off in the outdoor plunge tub. A full bathroom nearby makes it easy to spend the better part of the day outside.



The front courtyard offers a different atmosphere, with a hot tub overlooking the mountains and a gas fire pit surrounded by lounge seating. Gather here for an evening drink and conversation, or prepare dinner on the gas BBQ and enjoy a meal outdoors.



For an even wider view, follow the short path up to the hilltop pergola. It's a wonderful vantage point for watching the sunrise or finding a quiet spot beneath the night sky.



Please note that the swimming pool is not heated. The hot tub can be heated at no additional charge, and the cold plunge tub is supplied with cold water only.

Large sliding glass doors bring in natural light and keep the desert scenery close, while polished concrete floors and clean architectural lines give the space a relaxed, contemporary feel.



Books and board games offer quieter entertainment, and a queen air mattress is available in the living area to accommodate an additional guest.

The kitchen brings warmth to the home's modern design with rich walnut cabinetry, open shelving, generous countertops, and a large picture window framing the desert beyond the sink. It's a practical, inviting space for preparing anything from an easy breakfast to a leisurely dinner at home.



You'll find modern appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and thoughtful pantry essentials including spices, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Coffee lovers have their choice of Nespresso or traditional drip coffee, along with Joshua Tree Coffee Co. whole beans, a grinder, sugar, and tea.



Start the day at the breakfast bar, gather around the indoor dining table, or take your meal outdoors when the weather calls for dining under the open sky.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Kosen House accommodates up to five guests across two bedrooms, with a king bed, queen bed, and an additional queen air mattress in the living area.



The primary suite features a king bed, contemporary furnishings, curated artwork, and its own private patio. It's a peaceful place to retreat after an afternoon by the pool, with a direct connection to the surrounding landscape.



The second bedroom includes a queen bed and direct access to the backyard, making it especially convenient for guests who want to step outside and enjoy the morning air.



The home has two full bathrooms. Inside, the main bathroom features a walk-in shower and double vanity. The second full bathroom is located outdoors near the pool, sauna, and cold plunge, allowing guests to move comfortably between the wellness amenities without returning through the house.



-Golf & Wellness-

Few desert getaways make it quite so easy to alternate between activity and relaxation.



Start with a few pitch shots on the 60-yard golf range, practice your putting, or challenge your travel companions to a game of billiards indoors. When you're ready to slow down, the sauna and cold plunge offer a refreshing contrast, followed by a swim or an unhurried soak in the hot tub.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



Please note that the cabinets above the refrigerator and the hallway closet are reserved for owner and housekeeping supplies and will stay locked.

Kosen House sits on a hillside on the Yucca Valley Mesa, a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Yucca Valley and downtown Joshua Tree. The last 1.4 miles to the home are dirt roads.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Kosen House is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.
