'It was a lovely property with a great view of the city. It was quiet and calm as well. I'd probably have a harder time taking a shower in the winter up here as the shower is uninsulated, but it worked well for our summer/autumn visit. A wood fire hot tub was a lovely touch, and we got to see some wildlife nearby too. Amber provided lots of information prior to our stay and was welcoming during our stay.'

'So we came up for a Basketball Tournament and this was the place we booked for our stay. Was pretty easy to find (using my phone) and had great parking, I only had an issue of getting in the front door for a second. I didn't know I had to kind of push hard to open it, once I figured that out things were great. Nice set up in the house, was nice that we both had our own bathroom/shower and was awesome to have the chance to do our laundry each night. This was a Great Find and we hope to get to...

'These guys are super accommodating and the interior of the rooms are really well done, super themed but in a tasteful way. Convenient location. No breakfast, but there is a restaurant, I believe. Just call if you arrive really late like we did. They will open the doors for you. Ample parking, even for big rigs.'

'Our stay at the lodge was great for our family. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming (early check in, playpen/crib for our toddler to sleep in, highchair provided). We stayed in the caribou room, with a beautiful view facing directly north which would be PERFECT to catch the northern lights right from your room. 'I had imagined when I made the reservation that it would be in a traditional (and maybe older) hotel building in the central Whitehorse area. That was indeed the location, but the Inn is not one location but rather assigns guests to various properties within Whitehorse. Perhaps the Expedia write-up made this approach clear, and perhaps I just didn't read carefully enough, but for whatever reason I was surprised. I ended up in a guest house (perhaps purpose built, or maybe a converted condo)...

'The place seemed bigger from the photos, there were very little services at the property. No room cleaning, which is not specified when booking. The location is beautiful over the lake, but after that there is not much to do or additional amenities at the property. Another set back is that the meals are fixed to set menu for all of them, which you have to prebook. I suggest they could have additional options, considering there is no place around to go for a lunch or snack in more than 1 hour...
