Nightmare
From the beginning this was a disaster.Communication with host was poor at best & non-existent at worst. The photo showed the wrong building and a carpark where we parked the car to look for the apartment. An hour to no avail. I finally found it but no code for the door. I then contacted the 3rd party agent who would not send the code. I emailed the owner. She did not rely, I had to find wifi to ring her. I did. She did not answer. I messaged her. She finally replied with the door code. We asked about the free parking spot. It was 1.6 kms from the apartment or we could find a pay parking spot. We went back to the car to find we had received a parking fine of 38 euros. Had we received the door codes, clear directions to the apartment & information about parking, this would not have occurred. The next morning we awoke to no water. No shower, no toilet access and no water for breakfast. With four of us, this was embarrassing. We messaged the owner at 7am but received no reply. We requested a refund as apart from the messy beginning a) the free parking advertised was not a reasonable distance away and b) no working sanitation and drinking water rendered the stay an unsanitary & unacceptable breach of health standards. With no reply from the host we were planning to vacate. The water was back upon our return. The stress of liaising and sorting all this ruined our stay in Zadar.
