'A neat affordable welcoming hotel in a quiet neighbourhood on the island of Zamalek. Moving around requires taxis while in Downtown or Dokki one might be closer to a metro. But taxis in Cairo are very affordable, only during part of the day the traffic is slow. Soon there will be a metro station on Zamalek too. Instead, we were given a massive suite on the 23rd floor, complete with three spacious bedrooms and balconies offering stunning views of the Nile. The suite was immaculately clean, remarkably quiet, and provided a restful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Housekeeping was attentive, providing fresh bottled water daily and keeping the space spotless.
