The Service was really good and the Food Taste is excellent. If you want to eat a different foot than what is in the menue you have to let them know a day before. The Workers are verry Nice and ready to help. They accompagned us in the market place to buy all we needed. Every guest is honored in a Special way that make feel Special. The natural style of the hotel is really good for those who like to be in the nature. The rooms were clean and big enough. The bet are really confortable and the place is quiet. In about five minutes walk there is a lokal restaurant, two Zoo. In one of them you have the possibility to swim with turtelst and fish. We spend 8 days in the hotel and were verry happy.

The staff here is amazing and so welcoming. Also the airline lost my luggage so i didn't have clothes to change into. The concierge helped me by getting stuff i needed like clothes and an adaptor. If i come back i will definitely stay here again.

The Tanzanite Resort is an excellent choice for spending relaxing days in the Nungwi area. Aesthetically, the resort is very nice, the sea in front is beautiful with amazing colors, all the staff is very friendly and helpful (manager, waiters, reception, excursion staff, cleaning and gardening staff). The surroundings of the facility are quaint and safe, nearby attractions such as the Nungwi Aquarium and local stalls. A 15- to 20-minute maximum cab ride to Nungwi Beach and Kwendwa.

Staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Had a great stay and would definitely return in the future. I’ve stayed in an few other hotels in Nungwi over the years, and I think this hotel offers great value for money. The only problem I encountered was that the air conditioning unit in my room displayed the temperature with a bright LED screen, which bathed the room in light when it was switched on at night (similar to having a dim light on all night). As a result the room wasn’t very dark at night and I had trouble sleeping and ended up using an eye mask.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff
The hotel was so perfect and wonderful situated at the Beach. The staff was so Nice, kind and friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful (had breakfast and dinner all Days), and the kitchen staff was really Nice and helpfull. The pool was lovely and a fantastic View over the sea. Me and my family enjoyed the stay very much and Would like to come back.

Et dejlig sted at opholde sig.
Helt fantastisk oplevelse. Personalet er det sødeste, altid hjælp at hente i receptionen, søde høflige mennesker. Vi boede der i 4 dage. Maden er rigtig god, og der er massere ar vælge imellem. Det er store portioner. Dejligt stort og rent værelse, med aircondition, en skøn altan og god udsigt. Hotellet tilbyder badehåndklæder og strandsko hvis man har brug for det. Hotellet har flotte omgivelser, man kan sagtens gå ned på stranden når der er lavvande, og en 20 minutters gå tur, så rammer du en "rigtig" sandstrand med restauranter. Man bor i et hyggeligt kvarter, med mange lokale. Der ligger i en lille zoo og et akvarie hvor man kan svømme med skildpadder i gåafstand.

We had an okay stay at Tanzanite beach resort but there were a lot of downsides. First the WIFI!!!!!! You do not have wifi in the bedrooms & if you're lucky enough to catch the wifi, it's extremely slow, we had to go in the lobby to stay in touch with our loved ones! We told the staff about issue, they were well aware of it and did not do a THING. Second, the bathroom sink. Washing your hands is almost an extreme sport because as soon as you turn on water, it splashes outside of the sink. Third, the shower. We almost had a flood after every shower we took because the water would not drain out. They did not do a thing about this issue.

Average resort stay.
I stayed in Tanzanite beach resort for 3 night. Last part of the drive to the hotel is on a gravel road that is very bumpy. Free massage road, they call it. It was a comfortable stay. Room is spatious and clean. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was alright. The water pressure isn't great! The fridge was not working. Staff were all friendly. Some don't understand English that well. The service at the restaurant was terrible. You do wait a long time for your food and drinks. Breakfast was nothing fancy at all. They can change it up a bit. The luch and dinner that i had at the hotel was not bad. They can however change their menu up a bit. Do check the tides as the hotel is right on the beach and with high tide you can't walk into the busier part of nungwi via the beach. Also take water shoes as you want swim infront of the hotel without them. Don't expect much from your stay though.

Mi pareja y yo cogimos este hotel para dos noches, solo desayuno, ya que lo cogimos como un hotel solo para dormir, ya que esos días teníamos programadas excursiones para hacer. Por lo tanto, solo dormimos y desayunamos, no pudimos ver mucho del hotel. A pesar de esto, lo poco que vimos de la playa y la zona del hotel eran muy bonitas, y sobre todo muy tranquilo. Apenas hay gente. El desayuno es escaso, pero correcto. Tiene lo básico.

We were excited about zanzibar after climbing kilimanjaro. Things went wrong right at the start. Our hotel pick up was not at the airport. We were forced to deal with angry porters at the airport fighting over business jacking pricing up on us. The cab ride to the hotel was terrible and he purposely hit every single bump and was angry as we refused to pay his jacked price. When we arrived at the hotel we questioned why no pick up at the airport and never received an answer. The room was ok. The area within the resort was ok but outside of their walls it was awful. It may have been my perception but they don't care for Americans. We were always asked where we were from with big smiles and they would try to guess... when I said usa they frowned. We opted after to say Canadian and were met with help and big smiles.

Rigtig lækkert sted. Personalet var yderst hjælpsomt og venligt, der var en god stemning på resortet. Jeg rejste som enlig kvinde, og jeg følte mig tryg og afslappet. Det var meget stille og roligt og rigelig plads til det antal gæster vi var (jeg var der udenfor højsæsonen), så det er perfekt til afslapning. Personalet var behjælpelige med at arrangere en custom made tur til Stone Town og har også arrangerede udflugter f.eks. spice tours, snorkling, Stone Town osv. Det tager cirka 1 1/2 times kørsel fra lufthavnen og resortet tager 40 $ for at hente en. Eneste minus var at maden på resortets restaurant ikke var så spændende, men der er andre restauranter i området man kan besøge. Morgenmaden, som er inklusiv, er til gengæld rigtig lækker med frugt, frisklavede omeletter, brød og diverse varme snacks som pølser, bønner og pandekager. Great Hotel, maybe a 15 minute walk to town
This is a great hotel with nice staff, it is very calm and relaxing. If you are looking for a party atmosphere I'd look elsewhere. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is on the water but it is rocky right where the hotel is. Great pool, great staff, very relaxing and beautiful location.

Nice place for a great value!
Well, what can say? Despite all reviews about this facility on various sites, I can certanly say the following fact about this hotel: so they don't have a sandy beach, true, and it's pretty far away from Nungwi beach, but these facts are known, so if anybody books ahead without checking first, then please don't complain after. Otherwise, the place is simply fantastic! I guess it was recenly remodeled, thus we had a cheaper room it had AC and ceiling mounted fan, and the room was nice and large, and as I saw every room has AC. Cleaning in the room was on a daily basis, on the whole premises staff gave an outstanding attention for the cleanliness of the resort. The food was just great, maybe a little bit pricy, but really nothing to complain about! The staff, especially the waitresses in the restaurant were very polite, and their did their best to give us a fantastic experience. Overall, despite the cons, this place is a great pick for couples, for anybody who just wants to spend some quality time for a great price!

Dostaliśmy pokój o gorszym standardzie niż zapłaciliśmy, po dlugiej dyskusji następnego dnia dostalismy lepszy. Personel na recepcji bardzo niesympatyczny, bardzo dlugo sie czeka. Przesympatyczne kelnerki w restauracji. Dość duzy obszar hotelu, można wypocząć :) potrzebne buty do plywania żeby wejsc do morza. Duzy basen
