'Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home.'

'The room was very good. We booked the swim up suite. However, it didn’t seem like the pool was cleaned daily. Service in HAO restaurant was good but beach service was very slow and extremely expensive. The beach and location was very nice and most staff except for beach service was very good . For what they would like to be a five star resort and the nightly prices they could up their service game.'

'No shops nearby. Room was clean and kept clean very day. It was as very disappointing that there wasn’t a bar fridge in the room at all. When I asked about a fridge they looked at me like I had three heads. Hard to keep any cold drinks or any meds in your room. I would not return to this property because of that reason. '

'Property was nice as well as the staff. Shower in the room was only room temperature and did not adjust at all with either handle. Would have liked to see a swim up bar or central location to get drinks during the day rather then going to the restaurant all the time.'

'Villas del Vigía had the most amazing view I have come across! Unfortunately, all three beds that were included in the villa were extremely hard, almost rock hard. I mentioned to the person in charge that my mom, who was staying with me, could no longer put up with her back pain and if there was anything they could do (like switch the mattress for example) The reply was “we will see what we can do” and never hear back on that topic again, and a week later we checked out. If you can’t sleep on...

'The breakfast choices included in the stay were minimal and not to my preference. But the roof top restaraunt was fabulous and food was delicious. Best pizza ever '
