That’s exactly what awaits you at the Boddenbrise cabin, our modern vacation rental in Zingst-Müggenburg, quietly situated between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea, right next to the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.
With two separate bedrooms, it’s ideal for couples seeking peace and quiet—or for two couples who are friends and want to vacation together.
Families with children are also very welcome.

The apartment—bathed in light, high-quality, spacious

The open-concept living and dining area welcomes you with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large leather sofa, and a TV armchair—and when the evening gets cooler, the cozy fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The high-quality kitchen with a cooking island is fully equipped: induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle—cooking together is a joy here.
Two tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with a box-spring bed, ensure a restful night’s sleep—whether there are two or four of you, everyone has their own private retreat.
The modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated floors rounds out the feel-good package.

What we especially love about the cottage

Our absolute favorite feature is the large south-facing balcony., Whether it’s breakfast in the morning sun, a lunch break surrounded by greenery, or a relaxing evening after a long day at the beach—it’s hard to tear yourself away from this spot.
The cottage is located in a quiet, secluded spot; no outside view disturbs the idyll. And right outside the front door, vast meadows and breathtaking sunsets await—just step outside and enjoy.
When, in spring and fall, cranes fly over Kirr Bird Island in huge flocks, large groups of barnacle geese arrive, and roe deer and stags graze in the meadows morning and evening—it becomes clear why guests keep coming back here.
Plus: super-fast Wi-Fi, a lockable bike shed with an e-bike charging station, and a reserved private parking space right outside the door.
The apartment is smoke-free and pet-free—ideal for people with allergies and anyone who appreciates fresh, well-maintained accommodations.

The Region—Pure Nature Right on Your Doorstep

Müggenburg is located right next to the national park—and you can really tell. The Bodden meadows begin right outside the door, where deer graze and barnacle geese flock in droves. The Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route runs right past the house and connects the entire Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.
Zingst’s natural beach is just a five-minute ride away—and for those who want to cycle further, the peninsula rewards you with a constant stream of new discoveries: Riding through the Osterwald or the Sundische Wiesen, you’ll reach the tip of the peninsula—Pramort and the Hohe Düne—after about 14 km: absolute wilderness, hardly anyone around, and a vast sky.
Zingst itself, with its 270-meter-long pier, restaurants, and the unique diving gondola, is just a few minutes’ bike ride away. Prerow, with its legendary West Beach and quaint captains’ houses, is also worth a visit. The artists’ village of Ahrenshoop and the historic old town of Barth round out the excursion itinerary.

Our favorite trail right outside the front door

Just grab your bikes from the shed and head toward the Bodden—within minutes, you’ll be riding past reed beds, grazing geese, and the vast sky.
If you’re lucky, you’ll spot a white-tailed eagle.
