On the lower level of the contemporary interior of Villa Kate, you'll find an airy space where the lounge, dining area and kitchen are all joined together. The minimalist contemporary decor is enhanced by natural materials and neutral tones, creating a serene and inviting environment. The terrace and play area within the garden can be accessed from various points. The light-filled living room with a smart TV and a comfortable sofa for 10 people is a great place for a quick break or a family movie night. The modern kitchen is located on the opposite side, and it's fully equipped with a gas and glass-ceramic stove, as well as a high table. The large wooden dining table, which accommodates 8 people, is the focal point for shared meals, and a children's seat is also available. You can enjoy maximum comfort thanks to underfloor heating in all rooms.



The bedrooms are arranged so that 1 room is on the ground floor and 3 rooms are on the first floor. With simplistic decor and wooden surfaces, they provide an excellent space for relaxation. The ground floor bedroom accommodates a double bed, a desk and a sleeper sofa which can be used as a children's bed. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also furnished with double beds, desks, and TVs. Each bedroom has its own balcony with seating to enjoy the view, as well as an en-suite bathroom. The modern bathrooms are also arranged so that 1 is on the ground floor and 3 are upstairs. The ground-floor bathroom has a shower, while 2 first-floor bathrooms have a bath and 1 first-floor bathroom has a bath, shower and bidet. Personal hygiene items and a hairdryer are also provided.



The 1,200 m² yard surrounded by a tall hedge will enchant young and old alike. A section of the lawn has been transformed into a children's playground, and next to the playground you can play football or badminton, thanks to the goals and rackets provided. During the summer months, the entire family will relish the outdoor swimming pool's salt-water and comfortable loungers, where you can sunbathe and take in the lush scenery. A BBQ with cooking equipment will enable you to prepare tasty food in the Mediterranean breeze, and the sheltered terrace will give you an ideal spot for sipping your morning brew. For an exciting family holiday in the colder months of the year, Villa Kate even has an indoor swimming pool with salt water that can be heated at an extra cost. In addition to the indoor pool, there is a small wellness oasis with an infrared sauna, bathroom and shower. You can also take advantage of the indoor recreation room which includes table tennis, foosball, and darts. Parking for 5 cars, including sports cars with low chassis, is available in the fenced yard.

However, you don't need to venture far to appreciate the wonderful Istrian atmosphere. Take a leisurely stroll through the medieval town centre of Žminj and visit the small frescoed churches. Enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding area along the cycle paths. Visit traditional dry-stone shelters for sheep farmers and sample the local Istrian food in one of the taverns. Rest at the Vidulini Astronomical Park, where you can find a sundial and a micro-arboretum with local plants. For those with an adventurous streak, explore Feštinsko Kraljevstvo, a nearby cave that will amaze you with its unusual shapes along a safe path about a hundred metres long. From Žminj you can easily reach the east and west coasts of the peninsula, as well as popular destinations such as Pula, Rovinj and Poreč.
