'The property is a casita (mother-in-law apartment) within the gated property of the host. They have an additional rental. I liked that we were living like the locals do. The Casita is simple with a fantastic balcony. The hosts were wonderful although only the husband speaks English so communication once there was challenging. The Casita has a well equipped kitchen with a normal sized refrigerator and freezer. There is a gas burner but no toaster. One significant quirk was that the floor was not...

'The house was perfect for our short stay. Almost centered between 2-great surf spots (Pavones and Pilon) and close enough for a short walk to the beach. All the amenities you need to enjoy during your vacation. I’ll certainly be back!'

'We had a great stay at this well set up condo with outdoor patio. Comfortable bed and sitting area and basic kitchen supplies but adequate. The property manager was available when needed and gave us space when not which was nice! Short walk to the beach for a dip. The owner was lovely and communicative when needed. Would happily stay again!'

'This place gave us just what we wanted...an immersive jungle experience complete with Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys, lots of birds including a daily visit from a roadside Hawk, giant Cane Toads and other frogs, and toucans and macaws flying over. Having the dogs visit was also a highlight for us as we missed our dog back home. The house is gorgeous with huge windows and the shower was wonderful. 'Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!'
