'Had an upstairs room with a fantastic view to pool and out to sea. Staff were very friendly, knew everybody's names after the first meeting. Dinners were lovely and breakfasts all that was required both continental or cooked. Thoroughly recommend this property as adult only very nice place to go to.'

'Loved the quiet nature of the Crown. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very calming and respectful. Checking in early was not a problem. We were welcomed and able to leave our luggage safely while we explored the island before checking into our room. Nothing was a problem. '

'prima hotellocatie; heerlijke keuken, fijn personeel. Waarom dan 4 sterren? De communicatie via de website/ email schoot ernstig tekort. Ik heb 3 maal een e-mail gestuurd of een airport pick up geregeld kon worden, maar geen enkele reactie gekregen waardoor de start van mijn vakantie niet erg fijn voelde. Gelukkig kon ik met een vervoerder mee. Maar anders? '

'Het is een leuk eiland maar dan wel voor de 40+ Mensen zijn allemaal vriendelijk en spontaan. Openbaar vervoer is prima buss topt waar je maar wil.'

'Unbelievable service — Florence and the staff made us feel like family, always greeting us by name (and even with hugs!). Our beachfront bungalow was spotless and comfortable with stunning views. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the location right on the beach is perfect. Highly recommend renting a car to explore, but it’s hard to leave this special place. Truly unforgettable!'

'With all bungalows beach (and sunset) facing, the mainbuildings set in perfectly maintened gardens and a turquoise infinity edge pool that only finds it's master in the amazing blue lagoon this hotel is picture perfect. 'Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. 'Brand new, small scale resort with 2 swimming pools and direct beach access. Paddle boards, snorkeling gear and kayaks are included and available on the beach. The team will do everything they can to provide you with an amazing holiday. 'We found this property spacious, comfortable and clean and tidy. The elevated sea view was lovely. The communication to book the property was excellent. It’s close to town and cafes and although not around Muri side of the island only a short travel and we enjoyed the privacy and ocean front right there without the crowds!! Perfect relaxing at this property.'

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium

"Goed: Beste locatie van Rarotonga met prachtige lagoon om te snorkelen met mooie tropische vissen en murenes. Kamers op zich prima, wat verouderd, maar wel super schoon. Slecht: Deels verouderd. Restaurant is verschrikkelijk en zeer ongezellig. Eten zeer matig en niet 4* waardig. Keuken ziet er niet schoon uit ook. Ga lekker bij het restaurant aan de overkant eten, veel beter en enthousiaste eigenaar. Cocktails zijn kant en klaar en niet te zuipen. Ontbijt is ok, maar kan ook een kwaliteitseis upgrade gebruiken. Veel ziet er om 0900 niet meer vers uit. Omgeving zwembad niet schoon (zwembad zelf wel) en gevaarlijke putjes voor kinderen. Waterpark kapot en onveilig. Veel kokosnoten in bomen pal boven ligbedjes, heel gevaarlijk. Ligebedden hebben geen kussens zoals op de foto’s. Veel ongebruikte ruimten. Het slechte is dat bovengenoemde al jaren in de reviews staat, maar blijkbaar neemt het management deze niet serieus omdat klanten toch wel blijven komen. Advies: neem een goede hotel manager aan, knap de boel echt een keer op en neem feedback serieus, vernieuw je restaurant, neem een goede chef-kok aan en maak het aantrekkelijk voor gasten. Jammer want je kan hier een fantastisch resort van maken op zo’n locatie. Ondanks alles wel een prima verblijf gehad hoor, dus ga er gerust heen. "
